We were very lucky against PSG, and Barca are one hell of a test, but it would be daft to say we have no chance. Anything can happen..

Very true. Barca are quality but not what they were.

Anything can happen at this stage in the competition.

Limiting the damage Messi does is the main concern as is how much chasing of the ball we have to do.

Still, it's not mission impossible by any means.

I don't want to say I hope you win because that feels weird but I'll be quite happy if you go through in a lot of ways.

We have a chance. A slim chance, but it’s still a chance.

It would be nice to see us play Porto

Rather play Barca over 2 legs than a one off game.

You may get the chance in the Europa next year.

I don't think Barcelona is anywhere near the toughest draw you could have got. Juventus, Man City and Liverpool all are tougher draws. Man City and I don't think you guys would have even had a chance.

No way. Barcelona are now just Messi. Juventus are stronger all over the pitch and Liverpool know United far better.

Juventus have been stronger than Barcelona for a few years now I'd say. Ronaldo just takes them even higher.

Suarez is declining, no Iniesta, Rakitic and Dembele are just decent... They're just Messi now.

Hopefully Messi gets injured in the next few weeks 😅

They're a good side, But this ain't 2009 Barcelona we'll be playing in a couple of weeks time.

I'm actually looking forward to the game. Win lose or draw, it should be a good couple of games over the two legs. Actually feel we have more of a chance to beat them over two legs than in a one off game like the final. I have a feeling Porto might do Liverpool, although the clever money will be on the Scousers to progress.

It’s also not the 2009 utd either...

Think you've got a good chance. Lyon were still in the tie with Barca last round right up until the last 12 minutes.

No disrespect to Lyon, but you're better than them, so why not? As a neutral I'd love to see a United v Liverpool semi. Those games would be huge.

I’d argue it’s a better United than 2011 though. (I know we won the title but look who was in charge)

Thing is, if the games against Barca play out like they did with Juve and PSG we will be comfortably beaten -Barca are more ruthless in attack. We’ll have to be a lot better than we were in those games to go through. I’m looking forward to it anyway. Barca are vulnerable in defence so hopefully we’ve got our first team available and can cause them problems.

You do wonder how the giddy scousers would behave with a United team coach on the streets of Liverpool for a CL semi.

You have a real chance, but nobody can predict what Messi can do to any team. Let him even sniff a chance three times and you are three down. Keeping him quiet for 180 minutes is a huge task for any defence.

I agree but Barca haven’t won the CL in a while and that was also with Neymar and a peak Suarez.

Messi is still play but is stoppable these days imo. Not sure we have the players to stop him though.
