Timmy, it is blatantly obvious you are trying to WUM. What you’re saying is a Championship standard player would get into a top 6 PL club’s midfield?

Nope. I’m not falling for that blatant WUMmery

Fergie always had a team of winners. Even his last team won the league despite being average. At the end of the day it's only about results and trophies.

Fancy football means nothing

In what world you get 10-15m for morelos? He’s had 5 sendings off this season, still hasn’t managed to score v Celtic n aw. Edouard is miles ahead as a striker
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The world that Jordan Pickford costs 50m
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah so not this one then. He was sold for 30m.

It’s all about trophies? Then what’s the point of 97% of clubs even existing if that’s the case?

Not everyone has the resources to compete. No club is on a level playing field.

There is literally no merit in gloating about one club dominating an entire league because they can afford better players and wages than everyone else by a country mile.

It would be failure if you didn’t win it.

Well they exist to try and win trophies.

I thought that was obvious.

Don't be jealous that we get to have a party while you have to dig out the vhs to watch your glory days.

There’s far more validity in gloating about a player who has won countless trophies and awards than gloating about just being in a league where your team have 100’s of millions of pounds at their disposal and say they still can’t compete because a few others have more.

Do you whinge about Man City, or United?
Go and beg your American owners to invest in some winning players.

Just a thought.

Again, winning Scottish leagues and cups with minimal competition is not an achievement, it’s the minimum required.

celtic were poor in the second half. so complacent its unreal.

1-0 and ten men so we bring on sinclair and push high, i think lennon thought he had to go for a high score for his audition and it costs us a goal.

happened twice before rangers scored, it was coming and instead of tightening up we are sending rogic on. that shows me that he didnt recognise thay problem

I refuse to believe you think this.

Not every club can compete for silverware. They don’t purely exist to win trophies, they exist for the community and fans, who make the club.

Plastics like you wouldn’t understand that.

By your logic, if Everton, West Ham or Cardiff etc don’t win trophies, that’s failure.....even though they are not expected to win trophies because there are other clubs whose resources exceed their own. And they have differing priorities.

It’s a dumb argument.

That seems to be the consensus tbh.

Lennon almost threw the game away but was certainly not helped by the usual suspects thinking job done and easing off.

I know I’ll upset CT but again Ntcham was probably the worst. Boyata a close second.
