i think canelo just won

had the better of the early rounds, jacobs came back strong in the middle..and landed the best punch of the fight in rnd 9 (which canelo took v well)

later rounds fairly even...had canelo just shade the championship rnds

Just cant like Canelo. Being a drugs cheat is bad enough but when you manage to beat him on points you still end up losing or drawing like GGG suffered.

GGG definitely won the first fight with canelo

THUdd, seen you on the football threads and I like you're posts, but "no casuals" bit really winds me up, I don't know why its only the sport of boxing that casual's are seen as the under class... makes whoever says stuff like that sound like a d 1 ck...

Price vs Allen seems to be getting a lot of stick, but weirdly, I'm really looking forward to this one, skill wise it won;t be the best fight ever seen, but it will be exciting.. lets face it THudd, the casuals will love it right?

Whyte fight, huge risk for Dillian, it has to be said - especially as he's mandatory for all but 1 belt... I just think he gets a rough ride for some reason.

which brings me to the point of the 'top' heavy weights... as a fan (a real fan Thudd, not a casual) I'm really frustrated, they just won't fight each other and its excuse after excuse.. TV rights here, purse splits there FFS... we invest a lot of time and money following the sport.. and see very little in return... WTF is Wilder in with Brezeale for? Fury in with Tom? AJ in with Peter Buckley FFS... absolute joke it really is.

To be fair the term Casual is just a myth anyway, like how do you define it? Because everyone is a casual unless you watch every boxing show that is ever on and highlights, and you live and breathe boxing and are around boxing everyday.

And nobody on here is, and even people that are like trainers etc don’t have time to watch all boxing, so everyone is a casual in some shape.

I watch pretty much every big fight on tv, and half of the others (Saturday shows etc, have kind of started to ignore Warrens stuff but I’ll be watching the ultimate boxer Saturday as an example)

Am I just a casual boxing fan? Yeh of course if that’s how you define it, but i have other things to do and I have a life, if you spend your whole life watch boxing etc then you’re a bit of a sad khunt and need to get out more is how I’d define that

Just 99% of the population man would i actively look to watch snooker if ronnie o'sullivan wasn't playing? No, i might still watch it but i won't give a crap about it, same with darts, i'll happily watch the later rounds but couldn't care less about the early rounds etc

Everyone's the same man, do i really want to watch a MTK Global show on a youtube stream at 9pm on a friday night? Of course not and i doubt 90% of people who watch boxing would and if they would i bet they wouldn't regularly do it
