Re-name the West Stand

None of my business, but yes that's got to happen.

Would be a nice tribute to our late great chairman, I imagine something will be done in the close season, hopefully.

Beat city at the weekend and we’ll name the kop what ever you want.

Agreed. A good shout Foxes Voice.

I think there is already a statue proposed but a stand naming would also be good.

Can you imagine a scouser asking a cabbie to drop him off at the Srivaddhanaprabha end?

If we're into stand naming what about the Gordon Banks stand?

For our late Chairman would the Khun Vichai stand roll off the tongue a bit easier?

Alright mate do you know the Annie road end, well the other end please mate!

Has anyone tried to get Srivaddhanaprabha on the back of a shirt yet?

Let’s be honest - the right thing for all is the call it the Vichai Stand, with his statue outside.

Although the Srivaddhanaprabha Stand does have a nice ring to it!

Actually Khun Vichai Stand is actually the winning suggestion. Come and collect your prize Nuneaton - it’s a night out at the local chess club with Claude Puel. Enjoy.

The Claudio stand should be some where as well while we're about it.

He should be buried underneath it (and we'll buy the headstone).

There should be a roll of honour wall in a large semi circle
Maybe a statue of Gordon? In the middle
Then face masks for anyone who's been outstanding as a representative of the club,

Emile hesky for his donation of wages,
Gary linker,
Premiership winners,
Managers area, O'Neil, cludio, Pearson
And some of the old 50s or 60s players

Maybe our chairman could be in a similar war memorial??

Banks is a Leicester legend, but in his latter years he associated himself far more with Stoke City than he did with us. He was always very polite about it, but Stoke were the club closest to his heart. His statue (or stand) should, therefore, be there and not at our ground as I suspect that’s what he would have wanted.

In another 10 years time there might be a strong case for a Jamie Vardy stand.

In less than 10 years you might be able to stand

As good as he was what Claudio achieved is unlikely to be repeated, maybe a large statue placed in the Radio Commentary box just freak Stringer out every time he looked round.

It’s tricky with Ranieri. Yes he delivered our greatest achievement ever, but he was only here for just over a year.

The work towards that title victory had been delivered through years of careful planning and rebuilding of our club. Ranieri was the cherry on top of a very large cake.

As a result, it’s Vichai that deserves the real credit. He brought together and invested in our club behind a clear strategy. That strategy paid off with the greatest achievement we’ll ever see. He deserves the lions share of the credit. Pearson and Ranieri played key roles of course.

I would like to see some recognition of Ranieri at the club. I just think that it should be something else. And whilst we’re at it, I still want to see him return so the fans can show their appreciation to him. Now we have a strong manager in place who won’t be put out by this gesture, maybe it would be a good time.

Let’s remember though that the last game of the season should be renamed “The Shinji Okazaki Appreciation Match”. All fans have to run 4 miles to the stadium carrying Jamie Vardy whilst having a massive smile on their face.

What a guy.

Totally agree with Joby on Banks. I don’t think he associated himself really with Leicester. Stoke is where he should be honoured. Probably of most gifted goalkeeper, but Kasper will always be our greatest goalkeeper, hey Nev 😉

I thought the idea of naming the training ground after him was a great one, as that is representative of the foundations being laid for success - which was a big part of what Vichai did. I wouldn't be unhappy with the west stand being named after him instead though.

As for Banks, if there isn't a statue somewhere of him hauling Pele's header off the line then the footballing world's got something wrong.

It’s should be called “What a save”. Gordon Banks.

In previous discussions about statues there has always been a dilemma as the statue needs to be someone who all fans agree has made a big contribution to the club. It should also be someone who was or is a supporter or advocate for the club off the pitch.

Due to his contribution and the tragic circumstances around his demise, Vichai seems like a very uncontroversial choice. Even if he hasn't been a lifelong fan.

Certainly a better choice than Michael Jackson anyway.

A statue of Osama Bin Laden in a Leicester shirt would be less controversial than a Michael Jackson statue right now 😳

LMAO. The one manager who brought in raw talent, nurtured and provided some of the most entertaining sides over several years won’t even get a look in.

Perhaps in PT’s case it would be several months 😄
