Grandspur, of course it is not impossible, but last night was not exactly a one off, this form has pretty well been the norm for the past three months or so, maybe even longer. If Kane was available I would have some hope, but pinning all our hopes on Son, who has been poor last two or three matches is not something I think will get us through this tie.

10 per cent chance at best of progressing, expecting something like a 2-0 defeat second leg, they are still a far better side than us, despite us upping our game a bit second half last night.

Sandy, I saw it a little differently to you. Yes, they are a decent team and good to watch, but despite your stuttering start and some poor individual performances, I thought Spurs put them under some pressure last night. Son to return for Mora, who for me was a liability, will give you the momentum to turn this around.

???? Moura was one of our liveliest players !!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lucas was bad yesterday although him slipping all over the place on that rubbish pitch we’ve put down didn’t help.

Although him and son both start next week for me
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Very surprised that people are criticising Moura, I think he was good and so did many people I overheard having conversations on the walk from the stadium to Northumberland Park.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Must have looked different in the stadium as all I saw was him sliding on his butt or running down blind ally’s.

Not that I can really blame him as he had no one to work off yesterday with the statue up top with him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe. I would have said rose and Moura were our two best players...

Rose, Sissoko, Toby and prob Lloris were better imo

For me Rose and Moura were the only two on the pitch that looked interested until Sissoko came on and I for one wondered why Rose was taken off. Ok his final product was poor but at least he looked like he cared.

We have to disagree on Lloris yet again he ws a damned liability. His distribution is shocking absolutely shocking and every time he knocks it to a full back he clips it leaving it hanging in the air for ten minutes allowing them to either take a whack or be caught trying to bring it down.

I dont blame him for the goal but he laid down 10 minutes before the guy shot rather than at least rushing out and trying to put him off. The guy had 10 minutes to check his laces before he picked his spot.

For me he is an absolute liability I counted at least 4 times he played totally ridiculous passes to Sanchez and Trippier on the edge of our box when it was obvious they were going to be closed down immediately. His decision making with his distribution is nothing short of shocking and his kicking when he does play it wide to a full back is nothing short of a disgrace.

The occasional great game does not make up for the 10 bad ones in between. A total liability in my eyes.

I was incensed every time instead of building up forward momentum the ball kept getting kicked back all the way to Lloris. This has never been the Spurs way of doing things. Absolute negative style of play. And at home! Smacks in the face of "To Dare Is To Do".
