I know a lots been made of De Jong and he’s been snapped up by Barca for a lot of money but the few times I’ve seen them play it’s De Beek that has impressed me.

Van Dar Sar has already said they will sell 1 or 2 players this summer and not the whole squad. That's easily said than done mind you.

Yes I really like the look of Van De beek very good player and industrious, de ligt is the stand out for me, age, attitude, ability, think he could be our next JT but I'm sure he has other more attractive options

Dele Alli...was he actually playing last night , what a waste of space, Eriksen also ,where was he ?,seems like Sissoko kept the team together. Still Spurs got away with a 1-0 ,there you go !.

I actually think it's sad that a club such as Ajax can build such a good team up, virtually from scratch, using mainly their youth player only for the vultures of Europe like Madrid, Barca, Bayern to decide that their need is greater than Ajax's and go about dismantling it for their own avaricious wants.

I'd love to see Ajax keep that team together and be able to compete against the best for years to come, alas I know it won't happen, when the carrot of Madrids bag of gold is dangled enticingly in front of the likes of De Ligt.

Ziyech has a 25m release fee.

He's as good as gone.

Van de Beek is the star though.

We need someone to replace Willian and Pedro as they're past it, Ziyech isn't a bad alternative if we can't get Pepe.

De Ligt just looks outstanding and he's only 19, would love to have him but can see one of the European giants going for him.

Neres looks decent, wouldn't mind him either.

Tagliafico looks a good LB too, better than the trash we've got here.

Brummie ,I understand what you are saying, and agree that we could do a lot more with, and for our youngsters, but, i think that Ajax are just as avaricious and self centered as Barca, Bayern and RM ,they set out long term goals as well, and top of their list is to make as much as they can,It is business after all,and the Dutch are very astute when it comes to the top line !

But is it a case that they actually set out to do that and reap the financial rewards, as they know in reality they cannot keep these players OR would they rather keep them in the long term and gain greater income through more success?

Well they got a useful 1-0 away win...I'd say that was decent.
