Why would Liverpool not spend more than 13m on a player when they finished second. Klopp is smart enough to know you can't rest on you laurels when City are about with a bottomless pot of cash.

a) people who actually know something

b) people who have opinions based on comments made or need to serve up click bait.

In category B you have people today taking klopps own on the record commentary on transfers (read 16th march https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/first-team/342076-klopp-liverpool-transfers-summer-update) and applying a liberal sprinkling of click bait with ultra low budget to get us all to read it.

I will guarantee you after CL final someone will be taking Tom Warners comments form last weekend and talking about LFc spending huge money.


The in the knows will make a post or two on their twitter feeds but won't really be telling us much bar what the club say is not true.

But the media need content so don't be surprised to her them quote a friend of friend said etc

We don't have a problem with HG. We may have a problem with the amount of foreigners we have though as the maximum is 17 unless they're U21.

Brexit really hitting us bad.

Van Aanholt and Wan Bissaka seem to be the full backs that the clubs are chasing. Would both probably do well under Klopp at Liverpool and would be solid options. Both contribute to being HG as well so that means the likes of Clyne and Sturridge could leave.

Bissaka wont be cheap and we have trent so cant see that happening

Will all likely be in the squad. The rest can be made up by the likes of Ojo or U21's in Brewster, Jones and Camacho (if he stays). Milner may also stay but four have to come from the academy.

We can only have a problem with foreign players though. With a max of 17 we don't have much wriggle room unless we sign the likes of Joao Félix who are U21 anyway.

I read that Pool won't sign a player for more than 15 million but did laugh tbh.
They look to make a fair amount just in selling their loose ends, whilst generating a tonne of cash.
Even then it amazes me no one seems to notice the position pool need the most is a lb. Robertson doesn't get injured much but now moreno is going a new lb is essential more than anything else imo
