Poch is a worldclass manager.
He was tacticaly spot on against Ajax to go direct against their weak cb's.
You will be a force in the coming years if he stays and he is good in identifying the right players for your team.
He would be stupid to go to Real Madrid were managers don't get time and La Liga is a joke of league.
Man United need 4 windows to replace the dross they have so going there is not a good idea.
Wow forgot how high Lovren's stock was before he went to pool

It's only risen with CL and WC finals. Straight swap for Alderweireld?
He's not all that. 7/10. This season, let us not forget, has been one of pure luck and iffy (VAR) decisions. In fact, the 2nd half of the year has been a shambles. We had it nailed on to top the PL and how many games did we lose in a row?
He really doesn't deserve to take all the credit for where we are at today facing the CL Final. We are there most because of certain player's desire and because of luck

- pick up 1 point from 5 games
"Poch is useless he doenst care about the club get him out"
- get past City in the champions league
"Poch is brilliant hes proven me wrong has so much passion"
- go 3-0 down to Ajax
"Poch out - hes useless and has no passion"
- come back against Ajax to progress to the final
"Poch is brilliant we're definitely going to win trophies soon with him we dont need to improve the squad he has so much passion we will be fine"
And now this after a few weeks have passed

What an absolute load of sheite.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
For example, was it Lucas Moura (and the rest of the team, and a certain ellusive character at half time in the dressing room who drove home the reality we need to go all out and try and win against Ajax, probably even saying whatever the manager's tactics they need to now go out the window) who won us the CL Semi Final or was it Mauricio Pochettino?
A great manager wouldn't have had us scrape by this season.
I don't hate the guy. I like him. But really. He ain't all that. The team wins. He who dares. Not this manager's decisions.
Put it this way, if we had dropped out of Top 4 (almost happened) how would we be feeling about Poch then?
Same with the CL. Almost lost against Mancunian City and Ajax. We could all be watching them this weekend. Maybe Poch would have even left by now.
Keeping it real.
What grinds my gears with fans like Eighties and Sandy is they throw their opinions around and argue their point to death but then change all of a sudden.
This happens countless times throughout the season and we're supposed to accept their drivel. Wanting Pochettino out two months ago and questioning his passion for the club only to switch as soon as we make history.
Sorry but that annoys the hell out of me. Moan about the manager and celebrate if he fails because you're correct but then also celebrate if we win because you've gladly been proven wrong.
Doesn't stick with me that.
Yes because the half time substitution the manager made and the decision to go long to said substitute made no difference at all
Absolute tıt

Obviously there is a village somewhere missing Eighties.....................
Or he could be sizzle’s long lost twin
Actually it was Poch’s substitutions which changed the game, plus changing the formation to counter Ajax’s midfield.
Was it Poch’s fault that Lloris fumbled the ball against Toby’s shin to give Liverpool victory
Express quoting kane saying he could play if the final was today
GG. You don't argue with an idiot and come out better for it. Really not worth the time discussing with some posters on here. They have their agenda/ baffling views and aren't willing to accept anything else
Although I think my first choice at the time may have been Benitez, I recognised what a good job Poch had done at Southampton and was happy enough to see what he could do. Thought he did well in his first season in getting to the final of the League Cup, and there were signs of promise there, aided by the emergence of Kane of course. Only issue I had was with the defence which was shocking at the time, but we fixed that by signing Toby and the improvements in form of our fullbacks.
Couldn't be happier with him now, and hope he continues with us for a while. Don't understand how any Spurs fans can want him gone. It's ridiculous.
Don't want him gone. In fact, I love the guy! His passion is immense. Always admired all things Argentinean Football from back with Ossie and Ricky. Maradona. Absolutely relished watching Argentina in many World Cups, USA 94, Mexico 86 both come to mind.
I would like Poch to stay for real. It's just I hope he learns from the many mistakes WE have made this season. You do real eyes we were within a win (against Burnley?) to top the Premiere League. And that was the beginning of our steady run of losses. Also the 2 Cups being dropped out within a week?
I feel there is an agenda against him, media-wise... banned 2 matches and for what? Coincidentally was the game against Liverpool. Hmmm...
I would like to see us more consistant. What grinds my gears is the backwards play of late. I counted upwards of 12-15 back passes to Lloris during the 0-1 loss - at not just our new home, our "fortress"! This was embarrassing. These aspects cannot be overlooked my friends. Manager, at Home, first international tie there should have been pressing us to move forward. All we saw on the cam was Poch watching his iPad thingy. I come from an era where you watch the game. Intently.
And again, that whole "Kane in the dressing room" during half-time. Was that more media propaganda? But 2 players themselves said so live on TV. And then Poch denied it.
I am so thrilled for the upcoming CL Final. And there is no more fitting (current Spurs) Manager to lift the Cup than Poch. He will always have his name in our history books.
It's a personal thing. I like characters. Terry Venables, Harry Redknapp, Keith Burkinshaw.
That's not to mix it here with you guys, I don't do the whole trolling winding up thing. Genuine opinion is all. "Having my say" is all
Now let's enjoy this upcoming Saturday June 1st thing called the Kings of Europe Cup and bring it Home!! 2019 - Glory Days have returned For many of the youngest fans on these pages you will get to taste what it was like when I witnessed 1981, 1982 and 1984 Glory as a teen. And may the future hold some history for y'all to hold dear and spout off to your friends and children/grandchildren.
I will say our win over Ajax with Lucas Moura's hatrick was classic traditional glory days football. We won fair and square. Respect to Mau. Now to the players... To Dare Is To Do.
Liverpool and Spurs have genuine glory days in their history. Back from when the game wasn't about money and transfers. It was about the heart, passion, desire, skill and self control. It was a team game. No individual player seemed the glory (Christiano Ronaldo style or something). And this TEAM (regardless of transfer rumors, wants and dislikes) alone showed us how to win big style with what they have on their plate as is.
Let's do this...
Still waiting for what the iffy var was?
