Liverpool players have big final experience and keep losing them.

personally i see our naivety as an advantage. we are the massive underdog.

fancy us for the win tbh
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yep, no pressure for you at all. Biggest club game in the world, you'll be fine.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
big game.. but clearly far more pressure on Liverpool than spurs... we have far exceeded expectations to get here... you were here, and lost, last year...

you are also much the better team, based on this season's prem campaign, so are widely expected to sweep us aside.

very little pressure on us
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I really don't get this no pressure lark

Its the biggest game of footy in your clubs history and the biggest club game in the world this season

No pressure then
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Take it with a pinch of salt. Break a leg guys. Whoever wins wins. Don't worry if we lose guys, it's the taking part that counts. At least you have Top 4 all wrapped for next season boys, to you know, play in that Champions League Cup thingy. Get to visit some nice stadiums in Europe again and all that jazz. Take it easy lads. Summer's round the corner. Go out and have fun.

Different players but it’s something about the weight of history
========

And Chelsea being better.

Personally I think whoever handles the situation better will win. Who that us I have no idea.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea weren’t better for all those years. We didn’t beat them from 1990 to 2006, they were only better than us for about 7 of those years. Learn your history
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Im not going to learn about a couple if traditionally midtable teams in the 90's am I.

Might as well learn about West Ham and Villa too if we go down that route.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well maybe you should if you want to talk shiiit about other clubs on another clubs board
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Chelsea being better than Spurs certainly played its part in your disgraceful and humiliating run against them.

If you want to put it down to the 'weight of expectation' alone that's your call. Why not blame it on leprechauns while youre at it?

And if you read my reply, I admitted they were better for some of those years, but not for about 20 matches we couldn’t win when they were shiiit, so there’s more to it than “who’s the better team”, but then most sensible people who know about football already know this

So it wasnt down to just the 'weight of expectation' then?

Great. That's what I said (or at least as much as you did). What you on with today after youve calmed down? Drowning kittens?

It does look as though that run still rankles. It would with me too. It's pretty embarrassing.

Just like Klopps humiliating finals run, becoming a mental block for him now, let’s hope it continues Saturday

posted on 29/5/19

And I didn’t say it’s all down to weight of expectation, in fact I didnt even say those words at all but I did say the past can influence mentality, that’s why football throws up these “ team x hasn’t beaten team y” for ages and it’s not always because they are better

posted on 29/5/19

Double post. Why dont you get really wound up and throw in some whataboutery with Klopp?

posted on 29/5/19

Why is it whataboutery? We are talking about humiliating sequences, so klopp is relevant here

posted on 29/5/19

That's what whataboutery is. You feel threatened and digress to reinforce an already weak point. Dont worry about it. Loads of people throw their tpys out of the pram on here.

"Ooooh but what abput Klopp. Does that hurt?"

Love this "other clubs board" nonsense. It's a cross board forum. People are free to go to whatever board they like and say whatever they want. You want a Spurs only one then I'm sure there are plenty around.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough, take out the last 4 words of my post, still holds
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It should be a cross board forum, but we all know say anything slightly against Liverpool, and they will ban you from their board. The Liverpool board is just about the most insular board on the forum, very rarely are opposition fans allowed to voice an opinion on their board, most have been banned.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow, just wow. Is this the most hypocritical post in the history of JA?

I’m not worried mate
I’m sure Klopp is though, another final defeat could finish him off

Im just going to have to live with that I guess

Pressure is more on Liverpool to be sure
They need to win something this season after being so good in premier league (while sacking off cups )
They need to win due to losing last 4 finals
Klopp needs to win a trophy at Liverpool
Klopp needs to win a final after losing 6
Could work in their favour, for motivation
Could also make them bottle it again. Who knows
