Well Klopp clearly has had better teams, didn`t he win trophies in Germany?

Don't see how anything he said isn't true.... His team just got 97 point in a league season and are in back to back CL Finals..... Id say they are more than decent... doesn't mean they're gonna win though

I hope Poch comes out and says "I've never had such a lucky team, Feels like we have a higher force pushing us".... Klopp aint got much come back there

Not exactly rocket science - Liverpool are being labelled the favourites, so he's trying to play on that tag by building confidence in his players, making them feel like they've earned the right to win, they're good enough to win it etc.

It's no different to Spurs playing the underdog card.

Of course he's confident. Poch will be as well. If the manager isn't confident then what chance do the players have of going into the game with a bit of confidence.

Most interesting part for me was what he considers the best moment of his career, not the back to back titles with Dortmund but getting Mainz into the Bundesliga.

Yes but with a lesser team. He's never had to compete against a team as good as this City side, and we almost matched them this season.

Most people are able to judge the relative quality of teams. Just because his Dortmund team won the league, doesn't make them a better team. Just makes them the best team in Germany that season(s).

It's really not a difficult concept to grasp.

Sizzle, do you actually read these articles you post.

Klopp is talking about player availability now that Firminho is fit for Saturday, and says “I’ve never been part of a final with a better team than this”. He isn’t directly saying this is the best team I’ve ever had.
