I think the penalty is simple one of those that it's a nailed on pen when it's for your team and never a pen in a million years when it's against you.
Boring final but we never really needed to get out of second gear and you seemed devoid of ideas. Thought taking off Winks was a mistake, he should have been brave and took off Kane like we did with Firmino.

A free kick in a very dangerous position was waved away. And there were also a couple of decisions in the Liverpool penalty area which were quickly waved away. I got the impression the ref could not wait to point to the penalty spot for the Liverpool penalty.

Np We’ve been there a few times lad i know what its like. Could have been worse your keeper could have done a Karius or something. But yeah go again hopefully with backing, look at the positives that team did brilliantly all things considered.

If you wanna win something major you have to cut the defeat ratio..
As for the penalty.it was 50/50.

Spurs basically in the same position as Liverpool last year. Compared to Liverpool and City they have too many more players that are prone to mistakes to win anything. Liverpool replaced those type of players, made less errors than Spurs in a highly erroneous game, and won.

The problem with a team like ours is we want to join the big boys but still acting small time. Underperforming players would have been replaced by the big boys because these teams are expected to win.
Unfortunately until we start investing( and I mean quality) not just in the team but the squad then we will always be punching above our weight.

Was definitely a penalty, thought both teams were pretty poor but the fact is Liverpool didn't even have to get out of 2nd gear, if Spurs had scored Pool just would of went up a level and scored a few more, you could tell the difference in level because everytime Pool did bother to attack they nearly scored even Milner
Appreciate that looks like a wum but it's not it's the truth, harsh but honest. Spurs were not good enough, shouldn't of started Kane either, they always look devoid of ideas with him anyway because they just expect him to do everything whereas when Kane plays the whole team improves and comes together. Not playing Moura/Llorente was a joke, if i was them i would of been p!ssed and not even be bothered when coming on too

I know you are a certain type of special but this is crazy even for you. The whole game of flat and that included the tackling meaning there was barely a foul from either team. Certainly nothing card worthy. Very little for the ref to do so not sure how he was so bad!

Spurs were comfortably the better side last night, and it hurts a lot to have lost to a referee’s decision rather than any genuine class. If we had a fully available Spurs side all season what might have been?
