I think some fans are being seduced a little by the fact he plays for PSG and was once seemingly worth a lot more.

The fact that he's only played in the French and German league too is a worry. He's not a kid, he's 26. The numbers being mooted are nuts if we got him on an obligation. I can't for the life of me understand why PSG even paid 80 million euros for him in the first place. It's baffling.
