Scarlett got recalled cos he was having a chit loan, barely playing. Phillips is playing every game for Stoke and doing pretty well by all accounts

If Phlilips is playing regularly, let him stay and progress there. He wouldn't be certain to play for us anyway. He would only be needed as a back up.

A surprisingly negative comment from you......not! Not surprised at all that you think we should have created the perfect squad within 1 year of the rebuild commencing.

Of course there gaps, of course there's upgrades needed in some positions and some stop gaps. We've already added a dozen new players and that will be 15+ come the summer. It's a massive reset that will have required at least £0.5bn. Dunno why fans wxpect this to happen overnight.

Just for further clarity as the minion above has once again exaggerated and hyperbolically embellished, I’m not after the perfect squad in one year, heaven knows Enic haven’t created one in 25 years.

However, I would hope to start a 69 game season with more than one left back, striker and decent goalkeeper

Perhaps even four centre backs would have been a nicety, especially with the foreboding the previous seasons injuries gave

At least to be able to fill a Europa league squad without having to name four goalkeepers.

Also further to the above, when said squad was left so criminally short, I would hope that the many people hired by supreme leader levy, would have used the near five months to properly plan a winter window where swift action would resolve the deficiencies left by the poor summer window, where the earlier stated squad discrepancies were made

Perfect?! Just competent would have done.

Instead here we are once again in February, hoping that last minute deals from mr ego will suffice and help us save our season. (Note, they didn’t last year)

Enic and levy have once again demonstrated they simply do not have the intention, ambition or want to take our once great club forward and pay back the long suffering loyalty that they have long since profited from.

Not very many clubs have a complete squad capable of challenging, maybe 4 or 5 in the premier league, it's not a gimme or solely relevant to Spurs
