23 and had one good six months.

Got dragged off twice in games early, when teams pressed us, players were going past him like he wasn’t there.

Come on, last four months of season, he was nowhere has good, teams found out, how to play against the him.

Would I like to keep, yes, but £25m is way way more than his worth.

Am not against selling players for the right money, at the right time. Am against the club not investing and selling players to fund crappy loans and journeymen.

I don’t think it’s the right time to sell him, playing wise, want to keep him but £25m, I think is impossible for Leeds to turn down.

Last 4 months sides sussed how to play against the whole side, not just Phillips.

Phillips is proving better than some thought possible 12 months ago, hence prem league interest. Smith will have seen him over a season & clearly sees a talent - if the £20-25m figures are close to accurate.

Fair point. My point was more aimed at saying get off Phillips case, he’s not the reason we’re still in this league. Other players failed in the latter stages of the season yet don’t get mentioned.
