Completely agree. Every player has their price, but if we’re selling just to get cheap players in and pay AR rent for ER then there is a problem.
See the Clarke deal is done and he’s coming back on loan as expected.

Phillips before Bielsa came along was a poor player. However Bielsa has improved him 50 fold and now as a result he is a vital cog in our team and one which we should endeavour to keep.

Bielsa did improve Phillips cos the season before the last one he wouldn't even head the 🏀 he made lame efforts to make it look he was making an attempt...this season someone must have had a word in his ear cos he made significant improvement.
It's debatable though how many points he cost the team this season after his sending off against Villa was it? Team playing well in control, he gets sent off and we lose 4 - 1 then a few weeks suspension, defence rejigged, stability gone, cue inconsistency, losing points...though not blaming him totally, others were very inconsistent after the New Year...if 20m for Phillips can be got sell him.
I've said this before, KP was always a very good player.
It needed the right coach to bring that player to the first XI.
Redders tabbed Kalvin for stardom a long time back.

and best position. Now we have Kalvin Pirlo.

Yep agreed. I thought there was a good player there, just needed better coaching & players around him.
Wasn’t the best, but I did think he had something about him.
But, £20m if spent wisely (big if!), could replace him with 3 at least quality additions.

Phillips was a liability, constantly losing his head and turning in poor performances.
If you mean I have changed my mind about him due to the fact we have a WORLD CLASS coach to teach him then yes, I have.
I wouldn’t have imaging we’d get anything other than a Hockaday or at best another Monk. Then the future Messiah of Leeds walks through the door to not only drag this city and club forwards but to revitalise / improve the future careers of the squad before him.
Phillips was shet, now he is not.

saiz has kicked around the lower leagues without much success and then quit halfway through a season that he did nothing of note in.
a few simple tricks impress some people but most need some kind of end product to justify a place in the team. hope your wish doesn't come true and this hothead never plays for leeds again.
