We need quality, creative FAST players. If it was just my opinion then why are every top team miles quicker than us? Liverpool & Man City last season had it abundance.
Obviously the quality HAS to be there too and that comes at a price, hence why the likes of Sacko are being sold and replaced by Costa, who potentially has it all in his locker.
And the thing that scares every team, is pace on the counter. It's the only thing you can't train.
Is that your opinion or is that a fact?
Sounds like conjecture .....
I read last week a discussion on waccoe. They were basically saying that Pablo is now free to be our No. 10.
Harrison/Costa/Clarke allow that, they felt.
They also raised the point that Roberts can play a free
role just behind either Bamford or Roofe. Switching with
Pabs at times if needed. And how Pabs ability to play wing, either side, meant he and Roberts could switch.
I agree.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fact
Need another winger IMO. Also one with pace.
Imagine two pacey wingers with Pablo in the middle of them, would be utter carnage.
According to Kamara some people aren’t allowed opinions.
May I have your permission Kamara?
I was under the impression it’s all about debate on here?
Clearly not if you dare to highlight some people’s short comings or be so stupid to criticise the club.
It’s a tough world out there, this is good practice.
The more pace you have the less you see around you, you will notice players with excess pace run with their heads down, not enough time or awareness to find that vital pass...the move often breaks down.
A winger with average pace but good awareness will bring better results, just my opinion pace the debate of 'pace'...😛

Agree, especially at this level.
The pace on a ball, when passed with precision
and skill would beat anyone, even Usain Bolt.

I think, in my opinion, imo, my view, just my 2p etc.... that pace and skill are not mutually exclusive. What you are describing is poor footballers who only have pace. My view is Bielsa will prefer a footballer over a sprinter, as possession is king in his world... but he also realised we lacked guile, precision AND pace.
Ultimately, we lacked X factor and with Saiz gone, sides could snuff us out creatively if they snuffed out Pablo... hopefully Costa changes that.

Agree with your comments as a whole but the guile, precision and pace was good enough, better than most teams, until the last games. I thought the team if anything had too much pace, which at times when we needed it most let us down, too rushed, bad decisions and poor passing, shooting...too much pace equals lack of guile and precision. Forwards/ strikers are most guilty...Leeds strikers in the main need to slow down, they will have better touch, Hernandez for the most part is a good example, of a slower pace with guile and precision.
Side had too much pace
Strange because there very little pace in the side.
Thinking your getting confused with composure
Pace also effected us at the other end. Teams figured out that we were susceptible to pace and power on the break and it hurt us. Brentford were too quick and powerful for us as were Ipswich and Reece James on his own for Wigan. Need someone like Tomori to help us neutralise the threat of teams looking to counter us next season which at ER, will probably be all 23 of em.
I will rephrase it then...too much pace equals lack of guile, precision and composure...same thing isn't it?!
But we haven’t got much guile, precision and composure either
Forgot to add...too much pace doesn't normally improve technique...lack of technique was very evident imo in crossing the ball from the wings and shooting at times was appalling. Is the implication from most opinion on here is more pace last season would have got us promoted to Premier?
If we’d have signed James, we’d have p%ssed promotion
Great if pace comes with great quality but we're not in that league financially...and if fans think more pace next season will bring promotion...we'll good luck with that!
Obvious club think so.
Tried signing James and now signed costa, both rapid
Hypothetical I know but do you think had we signed James (paid the money being asked at the time), would we have brought in Costa now? Has Radz financial prudence back in January ended up costing us more money ultimately?

At this time Costa is a level above James, although priced similarly in this window.
Just my opinion not asserting as a fact, to be clear.
Myself would've preferred James to Costa but hey sheet happens.
