Who gives a fack about a player we wanted learning his trade at another club

Juve are running a bit of a risk by low-balling on their offer in comparison to over clubs, if the stories are to be believed.

If terms are agreed it sounds like Juve is his preference.

Indeed, but its dependent on Ajax, they have the right to refuse the Juve offer if other clubs have bid considerably more.

Terms being agreed could be code for 'the financial package Juve have offered is acceptable but we'll wait and see'. It's not quite 'De Ligt has agreed to go to Juve'.

Raiola will be milking this for all it's worth.

Yes. But equally the player can refuse a move to another club.

It very much is the case he has agreed to join Juve, if Ajax agree a fee with Juve

Yep, then Ajax keep him.

Its dependent on how firm Ajax want to be with their valuation.

I just don't trust Raiola that much. Wouldn't be surprised if the player 'agreed terms' elsewhere as well. Not saying he won't go to Juve of course but Raiola is playing the clubs I'm sure. Ajax could also be party to this too as it's better for them if there's an auction.

There should be enough time between now and when the next Calciopoli scandal inevitably hits.

It''s nice to know he's getting some of the best tuition until the next Juve fire sale.

Italian clubs are well known for their defensive capabilities and in Chillieni he will have a great tutor

Juve don't have to do a lot of defending though. He would likely learn more somewhere where he will be busy.

Pique foe example, really hasn't got that much better than he was with us before going back to Barca.

Considered to be one of the best CB's about so I think he has improved since leaving us.

And Chiellini has been lauded as a great CB whilst spending a large part of his career at Juve

Absolute no brainer of a move for the lad, I think apart from Barca and maybe City, they're the club best suited for him.

In Italy, more so than other leagues, the team with the best defence wins the league so he'll learn alot, especially with the players/staff around him.

Sarri too as a manager will suit him perfectly.

Shame we're not a more attractive proposition for him as a player at this time

Still haven't proved that there is no better place for him to learn his trade than Juventus and I will repeat why would utd fans even care about his future career development having turned down our offer
