He just trots out the “its the managers decision” and we must “take responsibility as a team” lines.

Whatever plans Poch had went out of the window when that daft stupid ref gave them a gimme of a pen for the most dubious of results and then they sat on that defending it?
Don’t expect a final of such magnitude to have the ref give a pen on a most accidental of handballs I’ve see. In football?
Carragher used to roll up jus sleeves and handle with both arms and never got given against him any pen.

Where’s that ref? Probably sent somewhere expensive to keep him out of reach of the media 👍

Of course he does, what d’you expect him to say? The club have media people who will drill him on how to respond to certain questions, he has an obligation not to embarrass the club while he is an employee of THFC.

People need to get over this now anyway, even if Moura has played we were still underdogs and may quite easily have lost the game, we’ll never know, it’s a damned if you do damned if you don’t scenario and it’s gone. We’re in training for a new season with new players coming in, time to move on.

People will get over it in their own time you can't turn it on and off like a tap.

I'm a long way from getting passed it because it was so damn unfair. Moura should of been the first name on the teamsheet as he had earned/deserved it. Whether it would have changed the outcome or not we'll never know but it was rank bad management to leave him out.

Combine this with the decision to let Rose go (just as he seems to be returning to form) and I'm quite concerned about Poch decision making at the moment.

To get me back on side Spurs need to put in a serious performance against Villa.

So just Kane giving various ways of saying that it's up to the team to get better and improve, to pretty much every question.

What do you eat for breaksfast?

HK: I have porridge and fruit, the kind of stuff that will help me and the team improve and get better.

I don't agree with you as I think the Blame lies with Sissoko for doing a one armed scarecrow impression in his own box but putting that to one side we had over 80 mins between their goals and did virtually nothing.

Thats down to us not the ref.

Too many unforced errors in the side last season, like that mistake from Sissoko or the sending off from Son, or complete lapses of concentration from Trippier, Lloris, Sanchez etc. Or how we conspire to give away early goals, or goals straight after we score e.g. the City game.

Need to be more focused and more mature next season.

Yup, up until the New Year all was going well, but thereafter it was a complete meltdown. Poor team selections, injuries etc didn`t help, but the second half of the season, getting to the CL aside was awful. Pretty well relegation form in the Prem for the last two or three months.

No more excuses this year, new stadium, new players coming in, not many of the key players on International Duty. Need to get up and running from the off. A settled side may also help. No more of the nonsensical rotation of the fullbacks please.

All valid points.
Here's the perspective we should view this from...

The fact that Moura alone got us into the Final.
What was his "reward"?
To be benched in the Final that he, single-handedly, got us in to.

With this perspective it infuriates me to no end. And absolutely raises questions about Mauricio Pochettino.

It's like, "Here ja606, I managed to get all of us lot tickets to the CL Final.
Admin included.
Yet Admin says thanks Eighties, but you have to wait outside until half way through the second half, because a certain poster who has been away for the past few months is now back on the scene.

For once I don't agree with you Paul, Sissoko was commanding the team a la Ledley King style to get into position. At least someone was fired up and took the initiative.

But I believe it was Karma that what happened because Moura was dropped which you and I always agree on was the worst decision ever made.

For this alone I will concede we never deserved to win the CL Final. Never! You don't sideline the one man who alone got us there in the first place. Utter disrespect. If anything, we are lucky we still have Lucas Moura and he hasn't left. Because I wouldn't blame him for doing so.

I never thought the choice of Kane over Moura to start that CL final was Pochettino's choice. I think Kane wanted to start, not match fit as he was, and he has enough political influence within the club to get his way.
I don't think Sissoko lost us the match. Moura should have started up front. Would have been a different match.
