Spanish people and business especially from Madrid tend to be pretty blunt in how they express themselves not bothering with our British over politeness at times, on the telephone when answering they will just say “ Dime” tell me non of our hows the weather etc so unwanted Bale won’t be smothered in softening words from Madrid

Zidane from his comments makes Bale sound like some lodger with a drug problem living at his house. I don't know if there is more to the quotes we haven't heard Zidane say, and he praises Bale and thanks him for his service and contributions, but if not it does come across a bit disrespectful, and would only perpetuate the idea in fans' heads that Bale is some sort of pantomime villain over there.

They're doing what they can to push him out of the club. In the circumstances, it's understandable.

How is it understandable? A little respect wouldn’t hurt and clearly Zidane and Madrid have no respect for Bale. C*** club with C*** owners and C*** fans. The moment your face doesn’t fit, they turn on you and use you as a scapegoat. There’s ways of selling players and there’s ways of disrespecting a player and basically forcing him out, Real Madrid are using the latter. The guy has won trophies for them with important goals by himself, show some respect ffs.

Once they get rid of him we (Arsenal) should hire some Madrid stuff to help us out with Ozil, Mustafi, Xhaka and Mhiki

Much tougher for Zidane this time around without goal return of Ronaldo and Barcelona looking strong plus the Premier league has upped its game at Champions league level, think the poisoned chalice may soon have Zidanes name on it if he doesn’t get things to Gel quickly

Be very interesting to see how he does. I think his success at the club before was more on account of having great players or 1 exceptional clutch player stepping up in the KO rounds of the CL, than on account of his own ability as a manager. Let's see how he does without Ronaldo now.

Certainly interesting to see if Hazard can up his goal tally as great player though he is he wouldn’t be classed as prolific , Ronaldo had already become a goal machine in his latter seasons with United and had the Latin arrogance to go with it and all the ego to win the fans over

Bale came out and said he'd play golf for the next 3 years and sit out his contract, so yes, they're forcing him out so the can get some money in and try and strengthen their team. Why shouldn't they do that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not saying they are wrong to sell. I am saying show him a little respect. The Madrid fans have treated him terribly and Zidane has aswell. This is the latest from Bales agent:

"We are working on it. Zidane is a disgrace, he shows no respect for a player that has done so much for Real Madrid."

Why? They need to sell Bale to move the club forward. They're idiots for putting him on that ridiculous contract but now they're doing what they need to do to free up funds to improve them. Nothing wrong with that.

Sounds vaguely familiar....

You don’t know why people would want to go there? I’d imagine there are a couple of clues in Bale’s wage and the 4 CL’s he’s won.

Sure, they’re ruthless when the players time is up but that ruthlessness has brought them numerous trophies through the years.

It’s not as if this is the first thing we’ve heard about it. Since ZZ came back it’s been obvious that Bale’s time was up. There have been plenty more subtle communications on moving him on, none of which appear to have hit home and you still have his agent making comments like wanting to retire at RM. I think they decided the time for subtlety had gone.

Harsh? Yes. A surprise? Absolutely not.

Couldn't agree more OP.. Won 4 champions league medals and their fans boo him.. They are a disgrace
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The fans booed Ronaldo for goodness sake. It’s utterly ridiculous but for whatever reason appears part of their culture.

They are cvnts but in the same respect I doubt they’d have put up with Jones, Young, Smalling etc for as long as United have
If they feel a player isn’t going to cut it they get rid, United offer them new deals

Zidanes comments are out of order although bales 3 years of golf comments haven’t helped his cause.

Even Ronaldo had to defend himself to them after he carried their despicable club for a decade.
