Rangers had nothing to turn down, sadly for them.

Btw-how did Morelos turn down a contract from a club that never bid for him, according to the story.

Also see some comments about how many foreign players they already have at the club...

What comments?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That China only allows 4 foreigners in their squad, and they already have 4.

Doesn't matter. But the comments 'being seen' probably cast doubt on the veracity of this so called bid.

Therefor they are automatically accurate and render the story Sky Sports are reporting utter nonsense.

So we're clear...

On the same day as Rangers have a big bad news story, they also are apparently turning down megabucks moves to keep their best player?

That's convenient.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
well..they didnt exactly turn it down.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry I forgot, Morelos decided he wanted to stay at Rangers after Rangers didn't receive a bid.

That's a happy news story for Rangers on this unhappy day.

That's convenient.

Or if you weren't being snidey about it you could say it is very inconvenient.

The ruling today had undoubtedly cost Rangers money. And thanks to Morelos' selfishness we have just lost out on a potential £15m windfall.

The report says the Chinese club were willing to meet Rangers asking price but Morelos said no before it got that far. They obviously sounded the players representatives out first as is fairly common.

So how is being denied the chance to earn £15m for a player with a terrible disciplinary record that we bought for £1m a bit of POSITIVE propaganda coming out of Ibrox?

I don't really care to be honest.

The last China story, whether accurate or not, didn't change my life in the slightest and neither does this.

If you all just calm down - the upshot of this (true or not) is that no bid has been made and Morelos isn't going anywhere.

So why should I care whether its true or not? It makes no difference.

I will leave it to you guys to get all hot and bothered and to use this story that Sky Sports News are reporting as another way to slate Rangers.

So let me get this straight; you all think that Rangers made this story up in order to deflect from the Mike Ashley ruling today?

Really?

Cared enough to try and pour scorn on anyone that doubted it.

It’s simple enough to answer-do you think it’s true?

The report says Rangers never received a bid, yet Morelos turned down nearly £200k per week?!

I’ll put myself down as sceptical...

posted on 31/7/19

Hahahaha.

What’s this all about?

Not the China bid again as Sky Sports understands surely?

And what’s the bad news about Rangers today?

The whole planet could be sceptical but doesn't mean Rangers made this keich up.

As mentioned earlier this is the same news company that ran the Yerda Selzavon story

I have given a simple answer.

I am not going to make up an opinion just for your entertainment.

I genuinely couldn't care less if it is true.

The ruling happened last week...

Either way I'm done with Morelos. Can't be trusted at all.

Robert Redford just offered me a million pounds for a night with my wife. He backed out though when I said he could keep her.

I would be delighted to see Morelos sold.

Anything above £10m is a terrific deal IMO. He has been a fabulous signing for us.

If he can screw the nut then I think he will go on to have good career and move for a lot more £ in the future.

But this season we need someone who we can rely on. He is too much of a distraction and too much of a sideshow now.

For the record I don't give a flying f@ck if it's true either.

Whoever did write it has done their job though judging by the frothy responses on here and no doubt many other Celtic Minded© pages.
