If Killie hadn't fvcked it up so badly against that pub team we'd have all 4 teams into 3rd round qualifying. How do you lose 2-0 at home to a Welsh pub team

Easy peasy for the dons.

Aberdeen looking good for a 2nd place finish this year in the league...

Some of their new players look decent.

'Aberdeen looking good for 2nd place'

Steady on......usual story.... strength in depth of squad when injuries & suspensions kick in.

Methinks they can't do better than 3rd.

Seriously, don't care the level of opposition......any good result for Scottish clubs in European qualifiers has to be applauded

I think Steamboats has strengthened the squad depth over at Mordor.

What I'm not sure about, and what is not going to be apparent until maybe Christmas is quality

Aribo looks pretty tidy, apart from that I'm not sure anyone else looks a stand out, if they lose Morelos it's debatable if they're better or worse than last year.

Celtic’s defence last season was dire.
Boyata
Lustig
Hendry

And we had KT missing for a long time

So Celtic have strengthened and will continue to dominate Scottish Football 🍀👍

Include the ineffective Toljan and Izzy it’s a wonder we won the league so easily. Shows how dire Rangers were 😃

I was at Pittodrie last night (any excuse for beers!) and the Dons were very impressive, regardless of the quality of opposition. I’ve been critical of McInnes in the past, but they played some really good football, and some of the goals were crackers. He’s had to replace half a team again as well, but their new LB (Leigh), defensive mid (Ojo) and winger (Hedges) all look cracking signings. Play like that again and they’ll hump the Jambos on Sunday.

Great result for Aberdeen.

Cosgrove is a horrible footballer to watch but you cannot argue with the lads goal record. He has scored something like 25 in his last 32 games. Great effort!

Gers game was as SG said 'a grind'. But at the end of the day we were 2-0 and didn't actually need to score any goals.

Progres were poor, very dirty, but you would never tell they were 2-0 down and supposedly fighting to stay in the competition last night.

At the end of the day we are comfortably through to the next round which is all that really matters.

Another clean sheet is a bonus - four competitive games and not a goal conceded is decent.
