You honestly think the Irish Independent are pro SF. In fairness almost every news agency be it TV, Radio and Newspapers all over Europe have been doing it, not just in the Republic. It’s understandable when the DUP are the leading party in a part of the UK that wants to remain and are propping up a disfunctional Tory party. Not to mention abortion and same seks marriage.

By constantly referring to NI wanting to remain you open a can of worms....yet when we vote to remain in the uk this is wrong as unionists are not really British??

How are republicans persuading unionists to unify...by saying no deal means united ireland=threat.

Or, look how many Catholic kids there are= sectarian headcount threat.

If you want real unity, persuade us.

Or just let us get on with it.

It has become more than just people wanting to be part of Ireland. Whether it happens in 2 years or 22 years the prospect of trouble will always be there. Both sides signed up to this so it was always a real prospect. More so now. The funny thing is Boris is pushing NI towards a border poll and Leo is pushing the other way. They were comfortable for years and when they lost their majority in the Assembly that really should have been a wake up call. The conversation needs to be had. One of the leading OO guys was on tv couple of weeks ago and he was a guy who seemed to have resigned him self to fact a border poll was more likely now than ever.
