I think he might go 4231 with McT and a Pogba in the 2, and wants a proper number 10 for the central of the 3 still.

Also the only logical reason we haven't bought a CM this summer. As it is we are too light there to play 433 for a season.

4231 and 433 are very similar tbh.

Most teams have a formation with the ball and a formation without it.

i wouldn't say it wouldn't ever happen, but if it does happen then the price will be stupid for a player with 1 year left

I honestly wouldn't class Fernandes as an out-and-out attacking midfielder though, not compared to Eriksen and the like anyway. He's something of an in between.

One area I can’t see us signing anyone it’s upfront as I reckon he is going to put his trust in Greenwood and Martial as backups.
It’s strange if he’s happy with the centre of midfield. Unless of course we simply don’t have the money and we are looking at around 60-70m net spend again

Whilst admirable, that’s a big risk, trying to make top 4 without a proven 20 goal a season striker on the books

I highly doubt Levy would sell him to us.
