Winks was great today

Winks is a great player. Lamela the jury is out on him. Decent squad player certainly.

He probably see's the player that robbed Grealish and set up the winner.
Lamela is far more effective off the bench or against the better teams where we need him to press. Good squad player.

I agree, neither Lamela or Winks should be in the first XI, neither should Sissoko on today`s performance. Winks did OK today, but he has zero creativity in him. Just running around for however long he was on the pitch isn`t really good enough at the top level.

We'll see how it goes. Love winks but the diamond has far from convinced me so far when weve played it, shame it doesnt seem to be working, we will see how it goes with other personel.

He brings nothing much creativity mate. Sure he works hard, but no way can our team have Sissoko and Winks as Number One picks, they both do their bit, but they are both seriously lacking that extra bit of quality needed at this level. And it showed as soon as Eriksen came on, even though he is sulking, he gets the game playing at a much higher tempo.

Yeah so sissoko shouldn't start for us

Some of the comments on here about players that shouldn’t be in the squad are embarrassing! We are one game in yet fans are slating sissoko who was arguably the best player last season and Winks who was one of the best players at the tail end of last season. We will come good very soon and with the depth we now have I fancy a top 4 finish and a cup

I don’t know how some of you put up with Sandy, you’d get more sense from an empty bucket
