Totally agree with all that......doesn't mean the two Rangers players are not good players (they most certainly are) but Rangers fans who believe they are better than the two ex-Celts are delusional but they are honest in these misguided beliefs

its a good market to exploit.

not sure who rangers hope to loan murphy to or who we hope to sell sinclair onto now either.

Ironically, i think Rangers would miss Tavernier more than Celtic will miss KT if that makes sense.

Btw, what about Dembele against Monaco on Saturday night, absolutely frightening.

agree with that mate he would be a huge loss to rangers.

dembele is a beast man, arsenal or utd await him.

need someone to bid for him first mate and to meet rangers price.

i think he will go for no more then 12 but no less than 8

if they want 20 million they will be waiting a long time

I think the only reason Morelos is still with us is his disciplinary record from last season rather than a lack of ability.

He has power, a burst of pace when he needs it, his hold up play is good and he is strong in the air. He is now creating goals for others and making better decisions in and around the box.

I don't think he is at Dembeles level but he has a ton of potential. He has just turned 23 and will continue to improve.

And whilst I get the argument there is a huge difference between Boyd and Morleos as footballers.

You could see why someone like Boyd was never going to make it in the top flight down south. He had no ability to beat a man in a one on one and he had no real pace. He was a great finisher and good at finding space for himself in the box but a lot of his goals relied on exploiting the deficiencies of sub standard SPL defending.

Morelos is a completely different beast to Boyd. He can lead the line on his own and dominate centre backs in a way Boyd never could.

It is difficult to say how good Morelos can actually be but he has far more about his all round game than someone like Boyd.

Value is simply the minimum amount that a club is willing to sell for whilst someone is willing to offer that amount

i'm not comparing boyd and morelos btw, i think morelos is a far better player, just using him as an example of stats.

i think morelos will go for a decent fee but not to a top team.

I’ve only ever seen Morelos play against Celtic.

Agree. I don't think he will go straight to a top team but I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to a mid table team in a decent league - say an English, French or Spanish team.

I agree stats are one thing and the players attributes are something else.

I watched Boyd for years and he was a great finisher but a massively limited footballer.

Morelos has so much more in his game and will go to a higher level.

if you put boyd against boyata, boyata would win every day of the week.

morelos bullied boyata something awful, got right in his face and made it really uncomfortable for him.

"anyway, not a rangers bashing article"

WTF?

Anyway all I can say is I'm really glad Morelos hasn't been sold cos he's a huge player for us and will be again this season.

He's got far more to his game than most forwards and can bully an entire defensive line on his own, set up goals and score some himself.

His first yesterday was typical. Three players could have challenged him but he fought them off, megged one and used his pace and strength to fight others off and rattled in a great shot.

Absolutely no comparison between Morelos and Boyd.

I'm pretty sure he won't be at Ibrox next season and he'll get a big money transfer to some European club.

It's as simple as this;

Who would you take at their peak - Larrson or Boyd?

And what would they have been worth in today's market?

I fail to see what that has to do with Morelos.

Ok...

Morelos or Dembele..?

Morelos or Eddy?

It's a no brainer for me.

Although I do think a club would pay £10M for him.

Rangers financial plan has been fwcked for years.

It was all based on gaining CL groups in 2 of the 5 years.

Yes they are being funded but at what cost? Still nowhere near being self sufficient. The impending SDI court case has to be significant.

Fair play to the bears who continue to go and support their team and buy those tickets.

I'm just going to state my thoughts on it here and now

Eduoard is going to be a bigger and better player than Dembele. Both are going to the top but there is so much more to Eduoard's game these days it's frightening the potential the lad has

ginger

i'd have thought rangers would have been in a better position by now.

granted they were screwed over the first few years and are now run by a lunatic.
