Would expect MGW to start. Maybe in place of Jota?

Agree that we must play a much changed team on Thursday. Doherty may benefit from a game having missed pre season, Jota and Dendoncker were ones that looked nackered after an hour on Sunday so need a rest. I would suggest going with;

Ruddy
Vallejo, Coady, Kilman
Doherty, Traore, Saiss, MGW, Vinagre
Neto, Cutrone

Pedro Neto was in the squad yesterday so it would be good to see him. Personally, I'd rest as many of the team form yesterday as I could. Go something like:

Ruddy
Vallejo Coady Kilman
Traore MGW Saiss Jordao Vinagre
Cutrone Neto

Should be enough to get us through with a 4 goal head start.

Actually, we should probably have a look at that new midfielder we got from Bayern too.

That's us out then.

Tickets now on sale to Wolves fans in the north bank quadrant which suggests Pyunik have sent their tickets back. If we sell those then it will be the biggest attendance of Wolves fans for many years. Given the opposition and the first leg scoreline I suspect we will be a couple of thousand short of a sell out

Games are certainly coming thick and fast.

From what I saw of the first leg, Pyunik had a bit about them so we should guard against going too easy on them but agree that some players do look like they need a rest before Monday. Cutrone should start, probably Saiss and Vallejo too but maybe start Moutinho and Jimenez to see if we can get a couple before half time then bring them off.

I thought they were pretty poor and so long as we hold our shape and keep possession, they shouldn't really trouble us.

I'd be disappointed if our second team weren't good enough to beat them to be honest, let alone hold a 4 goal advantage.

We surely couldn’t find any 11 professional players on our books that would go out and concede 4 to Pyunik.

Between August 19 and Sept 1st, that’s 14 days, we play Torino home and away plus league games against Man Utd, Burnley and Everton. As reluctant as I am to offer any criticism of Nuno, I think he would be negligent if he didn’t make mass changes to the starting 11 on Thursday

Presumably none of that starting 11 will feature on Thursday then. Samuels???

Lost 2-0 so I hope not.

Don’t think any of that team will feature on Thursday. I would hope to see most of our best players on the bench. And hopefully an almost totally changed first 11

Regardless of our expectations Nuno has always shown that when it comes to starting 11s he is quite conservative. I'm think he'll go ith something like this:

Ruddy, Traore, Bennett, Coady, Boly, Vinagre, MGW, Moutinho, Saiss, Cutrone, Neto

Subs: Patriciio, Kilmann, Valejo, Dendonker, Neves, Jiminez, Jota

I'd settle for that but would be worried in case the likes of Boly gets a knock. These are the perils of a small squad.

DJs team but would hope to see Vallejo for one of the back three and wouldn't be surprised to see Perry who he seems to like

Perry played for the U23s last night bud

posted on 13/8/19

If the pro's can manage it after three days i am sure the u23s can if required Gem.

Would add that Perry's pre season was spent with the first team and also in the first three euro games he was on the bench so it may be he had some game time last night as he hadn't had the opportunity on the pitch in u23 warm up games.

Though i grant you it is unlikely he will feature, just putting his case forward

The club are offering a chartered return flight from Birmingham to Turin for the Play off fixture departing 8am on Thursday morning, returning 1am Friday morning. Arranged through Thomas Cook (now there's a surprise) the cost is £459 not including match ticket.

I'm genuinely a little surprised that the club would be so presumptuous, regardless of how likely our progression to the next round appears. Also slightly discorteous to Pyunik.

Then again . . . who gives a Feck
