The feeling on the day of that final was very much this is surely Lennon's last game......for about 60mins of the game it was brutal viewing and we consoled ourselves with the fact we would at least have a new manager to look forward to......to then being absolutely buzzing at the fact we'd turned game around, were winning the treble treble AND would surely have a new manager..................I'll say it again, was like a death in the family when it got announced an hour later. Disbelief

I don’t care how bad we play, or how bad the selection or tactical set up is, if someone gives away a penalty like Brown did the finger must point at him. Absolutely gave them the game.

There is no comparison between Steven Gerrard and Neil Lennon in terms of their standing in world football.

Gerrard has already admitted he was made several offers to become a manager but it was the Rangers job that really excited him.

Lennon wears a baseball cap backwards whilst downing pints in his down time.
