Slaughtering players in public is never good for morale, but let’s hope he won’t be loyal to players who are not performing
Ole is like Fergie. He never criticises players in public. Fergie got that right, so does Ole. But he won't be in the first team long unless he bucks up.
I can only hope that this is for the media and Ole can sit Lingard aside and tell him his statistics are not good enough.
He contributes very little. It's all great having a fancy one-two and a celebration in hope it is recreated on Fortnite, but he needs to start chipping him.
Ole’s blind spot?
---------------------------
Thinking that he's a good manager.
Utd's ''Blind Spot'', agreeing with him.
This is far from lauding it due to yesterdays (v v lucky) result, but how the feck has the biggest (give or take) club in the world ended up with this bleeding clown in charge?
I'm genuinely baffled.

Clown is a bit harsh tux but the club in recent years seems to have had no real plan in place on a football level, maybe they’ve been concentrating too much on the commercial side of things and that’s why we find ourselves where we are
Tux should have stayed as a biscuit rather than a poster. If Ole is a clown Hodgson is his stooge.

What are you on about
Re- 'Clown'.......fair play bud, i'll replace it with 'Chancer'.
I fully appreciate Ole as a player but why on earth is this man now holding the reins at a club of this size when he's done diddly given similar roles?!
Absolutely baffling.

Well done.
Thanks TUX, I was pleased with it.
Roy Hodgson is a better manager than Ole. No debate.
Of course there's a debate. Roy is a good manager, but he has had failures as well. It's too soon to know how Ole will do.
I'll never know why posters put.. No debate.. Or.. End of.. At the end of a comment, as if it was written on a tablet of stone.
After three relatively poor appointments, Ole appeases the fans, respects the clubs traditions and will try and play attacking football. That's why he has the job.
Fans favourite. The only reason he's still in the job
Hasn’t Lingard only scored 4 goals and nabbed 2 assists in the past year?

It’s a fair question... but look at what Van Gaal and
Mourinho has achieved in the game - it didn’t really help them. Maybe we just needed something different.
Does he know and “get” the club? Yes, absolutely. Has he shown something at managerial level? Yes, albeit at a so-called lower level. So why not give him a chance? There was no other obvious candidate available and where else do the next generation come from?
Nowt to do with t'manager.
Nowt to do with t'previous three manager/coaches.
The issue is deeper rooted.
The academy is broken.
The squad has gaping holes in it, and has done for over 6 years.
Scouting team are located somewhere between complacent and lazy.
Transfers in policy is based on image and not capacity, character or competence
No footballing direction - hence no shape, no intelligence (on the pitch), out of position players and no sense of a threat to any opponent.
I think Ole will get us pointing in thee right direction by producing a young squad trying to play the right way. I don't however think he will be the manager delivering silver ware next term. The final push to get us challenging again will be delivered by someone more experienced
