It's early days, but I do wonder if Rooney will end up coming in as Player / Manager instead of Player / Coach. Not because Cocu isn't good enough, but because we really do have a weak team this season and patience might run out.

No doubt Wellies. Can understand not wanting to overplay Bielik and resting Old Man Huddz though. On another day, Keogh, Bielik, Huddz and Wagstaff as a spine might have given the kids a better chance.

yes, I'm glad to see the youngsters play here, but as others have said 'predictable' and we're not really seeing anything here that we haven't got in our first choice team, only similar weaknesses. Wouldn't say this team was worse than our first choice, there's really not much in it.
