Part of me would be quiet excited if we were to get Mourinho. This club seriously needs a winner at the helm and desperately needs trophies. The baron spell has gone on far to long now. For me even if we beat Watford, it proves nothing. The team have playungline dogs** for the best part of 6 months and our horrendous away record just can’t be ignored. I don’t think Poch will get sacked, but I want to see a change now.

I don't think Mourinho is a good fit. I cannot see that working out well.

we'd end up with 8 x 6ft 11" CBs playing accross the back 8

I don't see Poch getting the boot yet. I think he'll get until the Liverpool game if we aren't changing our fortunes by then.

It all went pear shaped for Mourinho at United cause he wasn't really backed in the end, reportedly. How's he going to cope at Spurs?

It really isn't the kind of manager I can see Levy employing, and Mourinho would get frustrated here very quickly. And if he isn't getting frustrated quickly, he gets bored quickly and moves on.

if there is cash to be spent in January to rectify our current hole of shat we find ourselves in, maybe there is some truth in the Mourinho rumours...

There's a difference between Levy cash and Mourinho cash. £80m for Maguire would have been a one of many signings for Mourinho. £80m for Levy is the entire transfer budget

Mourinho has had 5 trophyless seasons in the last 7. I don't know why people think he's guaranteed to bring us the success we've all been craving, at a club like Spurs as well.

TBF..... Jose doesn't mind managing with big pressure/expectations, not sure the same can be said of Poch..... always seems to want to play down expectations, talk about projects and pushes out time frames. With that said I don't see Poch going anytime soon unless he walks. Don't see how hopefully beating Watford/ Red Star & losing to Liverpool changes anything..... Hopefully there's a plan in place to at least get us to Jan & we see where we are then

Sorry but that is nonsense. I'm not an advocate for sacking Pochettino for Mourinho but Mourinho has won at every club he has been to so yes he has guaranteed trophies.

If you get rejuvinated Jose similar to his Porto and early Chelsea days it could be just the tonic Spurs need. Instill that us against the world mentalitly. Maybe do for Kane and Dele what he did for Terry and Lamps.

Flip side you get the Man U Jose who has lost it and needs 300 million to spend to play boring dull football.

That said I fully back Poch and don't want him to leave.

This is it. As great as Pochettino is and the way he’s improved the club, we still haven’t won anything. I want to see this club win trophies and I honestly don’t think we will under Pochettino, so only thing we can do is bring in a serial winner that has the ability to turn teams into trophy winners.

Mourinho said his greatest achievement at United was finishing 2nd and has moaned previously about spending etc. so he has shown greater tactical management but I wouldn't say he doesn't down talk expectations and he doesn't go on about projects because he has joined clubs who want to win today. We operate differently.

Mourinho with our 2016/17 team would have probably taken us over the line with a trophy. FA cup or something like that - I don't see him doing it with our current crop of players and they're intentions to leave.

So if we are going to spend money then back the manager who deserves it - Poch.

No manager is guaranteed success. I understand Mourinho has a good record for winning trophies, but this is Spurs, it's a club that likes to do things differently to the teams he is used to. The fact is that the competition around Spurs in achieving trophies presently is that much tougher as well.

Okay, you're just moving the goal post. You talked about the 5/7 trophyless seasons which I responded to be a useless statistics because he has won at each club he has been to. So track record would suggest that continues until proven otherwise.

Anyway, Poch IN.
