Really misleading reports earlier. Saw the TV reports and it said he was on trial for 'Secxual assault on a train'. I thought he'd turned into one of those weirdos that tries to hump inanimate objects.
5 day trial for a kiss on the lips, as if there is nothing else to do with tax payer money.

Strange one. It isn’t mutually exclusive. You can recognise him as a legend for your club but still also condone the sexual assault of a woman that has led to him being charged.
Troubled genius. He needs to be locked up in an institute for his own good.
He's no legend to me now.
Gascoigne was a great player, but his character and personality border on schizophrenic, possibly psychotic.
Even as a player, some of his past behaviour would not be tolerated at most clubs now.
Whilst I understand that he is most likely ill, I also feel that some of his “friends” have almost encouraged his antics in the past and he has never really learnt right from wrong.
He does need to be in a secure environment to see if he can rehabilitate, although I fear that ship has already sailed.
Can see him going the same way as Higgins did.
By the way, NO ONE on here should try to condone or in anyway mitigate Gascoigne’s behaviour towards that female on the train. It was reprehensible and a sexual violation on her, to then try and justify it by calling her a fat lass who he was doing a favour towards, is in itself insulting
