Not sure being a Leeds fan is your calling with that slant on things - who can see into the future?

Problem with Lowfields and Leeds is the almighty allergy he has against anything to do with Leeds!..

He's more than likely still cleaning his PC after watching his hero ref the Millwall Leeds game, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Lowfields isn't an old acquaintance from times gone by!..

Average home gate 2015/16 - 21,667
Average home gate 2018/19 - 33,834.

OK so I choose a poor season and compared it to a good season to illustrate my point but gates are clearly up and compared with that season the football played pays for his wages.

AR said recently that wages are now 40 mill.

One wonders what size attendances we need to cover that.....
----------------------------------------------------------------------

As you know, attendance is not the main revenue driver anymore.

Actually, looking at 2017/18 accounts (latest available), gate revenue was 11.3m (28%), followed by "Other Commercial Revenue" of 9.9m (24%) and "Central Distributions" (from EFL?) of 6.8m (17%).

Yeah it's money well spent if you win promotion, problem is that's looking unlikely

--------------

What a ridiculous thing to say - how exactly is it looking unlikely? - I'd understand it a lot more if we were bottom half...

--------------------

Not ridiculous at all, we're struggling to score goals, not a sign of a promotion winning team. Add the fact we're always likely to concede plus a clown in goal and it doesn't look good.

If you look at form table then we’re mid table on a downward trend.

That does have to change for us to get promoted.

The form table?

you can pick and choose how many gmes you'd like the form table to show... the fact is we're 2nd in the table... the team above us drew at home to Barnsley.

don't want to hear about us changing tactics, we just need to be better at what we do... its a bit like Anthony Joshua losing the weight for Ruiz, big mistake in my eyes, AJ is what he is, he's big, powerful, explosive finsiher.. he has his flaws yes, but he should get better at what he does well, rather than change his style

a clown in goal

-----------------

hang on... do you mean Kiko? - The same clown that's kept those clean sheets and sits behind the best defence in the division? despite it being make shift due to injuries?

posted on 25/10/19

Yeah Kiko, the same clown who came rushing out against Derby and cost us the play offs. The same clown who should have come rushing out against Preston on Tuesday but didn't.

give it rest Lowfields... Kiko has been brilliant this season... show me another keeper in our league that can play with his feet like does, crucial to the way we play.... I'm not saying he's flawless at all, but he's an excellent keeper for us.

This is incorrect, gate receipts are our single largest source of revenue.

What is concerning was that salaries including pensions etc were 31 mill, which is 75% of turnover, we're now told that wages are 40mill.
