I think Torreira is a good player. But I think you need a right back, two centre backs and two central midfielders to be anywhere near.
There are certain players in the squad we all know aren't good enough. The majority of the midfielders we have decent ability, we must not fall into the trap of just saying the players aren't good enough because we aren't getting the results. We have absolutely no structure and style of play, even the best players in the world would struggle with this setup.
Are you not having a good ebening?
Doesn't matter which world-class manager we bring in. He will still have to deal with a squad full of weak, slow, criminally one-footed players who couldn't trap a bag of cement. Players who need at least 2 touches and the entire county of Essex to bring a simple pass under control.
It's too bad we will only realise this after chewing through another couple of managers.
Yeah there is a need for more quality there. But I think they’d do better with proper system and tactics. Where they’re placed on the field is bizarre at times. They’re usually split very wide, or one is deep, then everyone else is miles away up there pitch. We haven’t got them combining at all. It effects us both going forward and defending. They should be producing much better than they are, even if they’re not all at top 4 standard
Guendouzi is quality for me. Very young but plays like an older player. Put him in city or Liverpools team and he would look incredible. He's just surrounded by shiiite

I have never said that. Pool do miss creativity from MF but the front 3 provide that in abundance to make up for it
Guendouzi struggles when we're on the back foot and under bombardment. That part of his game will come with time, experience and earning tactical awareness through a better manager than Emery. When we're on the front foot, his urgency is fantastic.
After all these years, we're still crying out for a long legged black man to play the box-to-box role. I don't think the quality of our players is the issue, we just do not have a single combination which seems to provide the right balance.
Okay Barca for example. He could replace Rakitic or Busquets. Imagine him next to Arthur and De Jong pulling the strings
The fact still remains that a raw 19-year old Ligue 2 midfielder marched straight into a nailed-on starting spot more than a year ago, and hasn't had any meaningful competition for his place since.
Our midfielders are better than Liverpool's yet they are top of the league. Good defenders and forwards can carry worse midfields than ours.

Spot on!
January we need to sign a respectable holding midfielder but who can we realistically get that wouldn't cost over £50 million? another option to improve our attacking options in midfield is the return of Cesc Fabregas, he's 31 still not that old and I'm sure he would be open to returning back to the Emirates. I don't think he would cost that much.

No chance! Wijnaldum is a beast, none of our midfielders would get in the Liverpool 11, apart from possibly Ozil. I don't really rate Henderson highly but he does work hard for the team, Fabinho and Keita also look decent, Milner again another hard working player who can play centre mid, on the wing, or left back and right back
Rosicky? Not sure many teams envied you over him.

Wijaldum is very underrated
I rate Torreira highly and he has shown his ability when playing deeper. However, he has not been afforded the chance to build a partnership with anyone at that base due to Emery changing his midfield every week. Then this season, you have Torreira occupying the AM space which is stupid.
Guendouzi...I am not sold on the idea he should start every game for us. Despite the hype and energy, I think he still has a long way to go. For me, ideally, Guendouzi would play in cup competitions, come of the bench in th ed league or start some league games at home. Keep going the way he is, he will burn out and we will ruin a takent.
