Agreed. We were "robbed" in identical fashion at Leicester ( which would have put us 2-0 up ) but don't remember our fans linking that decision to unnecessary derogatory remarks about Rogers. Just go away and troll the royals or something. You sound sad enough to do so.

Well Sandy, mr panic station, maybe we will be the first team to win the CL and get relegated? Surely you would accept that?
You are the most vocal critic of not winning any trophies, in which case like you say we are in danger of relegation, would you not take that?
Ok, joking aside, no chance in hell we’ll be even remotely anywhere near the relegation zone by the eve of the season.
Yesterday’s draw is the issue of squad depth. Even in season 2015/16 when we where title chasers, we had hang ups from CL game in midweek and our performances suffered in the league game following.
You also have to give credit to Sheffield United who are not full of well known names but are well organised, well drilled and hard working unit and they deserved the points.
I didn’t expect an easy win yesterday. Spurs are in a transition phase and we are now getting the benefits of having all our signings, in other words, the fresh blood we need to inject in the side, being available for selection.
I think things will improve after the international break. The one thing that is annoying is things like Foyth being selected fir his country to play and if he gets injured it would disrupt the side, again!
Yet Poch is operating under those criteria of lack of quality in depth. Other managers couldn’t and went and spent ridiculous amount on individuals to bolster their sides. Ask Levy why Poch can’t do the same?

Morespurs, I like you as a poster, and you are always very optimistic, I used to be like that, but if you think this is a transition period, form that has been dire for most of 2019, then you need to have a serious rethink. Not only is the form awful, but the performances are worse than anything ever served up under AVB, Sherwood, Jol, etc.
This is I will reiterate not just a transition period, but a full blown crisis. Spurs are getting comprehensively outplayed by teams like Brighton, who were one of my absolute favourites to get relegated this year. Even Norwich`s form will perk up once they come up against Spurs.
Someone suggested we have won 9 points through var yesterday were actually we have just stolen 3 draws so 3 points max through luck with var lol, even then we still wouldn't be in the relegation zone

I see Howe being mentioned as a potential replacement.
Wasn’t so long ago that Bournemouth WERE in the relegation zone sometime around November and some sections of the media started questioning his position.
The club stuck by him and it all worked out well.
Sacking managers is not always the answer and given that it’s so early in the season, three points from 5th, I think spurs fans need to sit tight for now.

I am predicting what should be happening, not what will actually happen, that is why it is called a prediction. If everybody got every result right they predict, they would all be millionaires. Spurs should absolutely be beating the likes of Newcastle, Watford and Sheffield United at home, and if they are not, serious questions need to be asked.

I see Howe being mentioned as a potential replacement.
Wasn’t so long ago that Bournemouth WERE in the relegation zone sometime around November and some sections of the media started questioning his position.
The club stuck by him and it all worked out well.
Sacking managers is not always the answer and given that it’s so early in the season, three points from 5th, I think spurs fans need to sit tight for now.

I am predicting what should be happening, not what will actually happen, that is why it is called a prediction. If everybody got every result right they predict, they would all be millionaires. Spurs should absolutely be beating the likes of Newcastle, Watford and Sheffield United at home, and if they are not, serious questions need to be asked.

It is relegation form. Clubs like United, Arsenal and Everton are calling for their managers heads because they can see something is fundamentally wrong. With a worse record why can’t some Spurs fans?

Absolutely. You have to look at the bare facts and form to know that Spurs are sliding quite rapidly towards the bottom three. To ignore that is stupidity at the very least, and I don`t really like calling Spurs supporters stupid, but in no way can the form in 2019 be window dressed up as anything bar relegation form if it carries on.

The argument you are making is the exact argument others made against Leicester winning the league. Just because the bookies say it won’t happy doesn’t make it the case

Well yes, people tend to use the chances of something happening when they’re discussing the chance of something happening.
A one off event doesn’t make an unlikely event any likelier to happen. All it proves is that it technically could happen, which we already know, and given the differences between the circumstances, it’s really a pointless comparison.
