Imagine Arsenal now sack Emery and make a move for Poch...

I wouldn't blame them if they tried but I think their board is as clueless as ours aren't they?

I have had a bet running with my Spurs neighbour for about five years, that we, (Leeds) would win the title before Spurs.

I was getting worried whilst you had Poch. Not so now. It will be hard to get better and if it’s Jose forget it! He’s past his sell by date.

Cheers

you must be so proud.

All of Poch's effort wasted. He built a great culture and style of football which was allowed to stagnate and decline by not giving Pochettino full backing.

Two years without a Stadium
One signing in 4 windows
Lowest wage bill of the top 6
4 consecutive top 4 finishes
Champions league final.
Made us into a club to be proud of again.

Dont you think you are all getting a bit carried away here?

Lets face the facts, half of our signings since Poch were dreadful altho apparently its not him.

What have we won under Poch?

What has Poch ever won?

When was the last time we watched some incredible flowing style of football that you are talking about?

What I have seen for the last year has been dire and I mean dire. Ok I never wanted him sacked but lets face it he had a fair crack of the whip and look at the position we are in right now.

As for slagging the chairman if you think the last 5 years have been that fantastic well lets just remember who gave Poch the job in the first place.

So who do you have to thank? Levy employed him should you not give him thanks for the last 5 years as well?

As for all this "Levy should have backed him" crap, a club has to live within its means we dont have an owner who is going to bankroll us to spend mega money and thats that so deal with it.

Lets not forget how disastrous Ramos was but at least he won a trophy.

5 years ago you were all slaughtering woolwich fans for the "Top 4" award that they got every season and yet thats all we have had to show for the last 5 years.

Poch has gone get over it and look forwards and think about one other thing. Every single mega important game we played under Poch we lost. Cup finals, semi finals, top of the league clash with Leicester that would have won us the prem probably. Away to the spammers in the year Leicester won it would have seen us top but we blew it YET AGAIN.

Thats all fact, even the game away to Newcastle would have knocked the woolwich off their perch a year earlier but guess what? We blew it.

No I never wanted him sacked but his record was nothing to shout about for sure and we stopped playing decent football two years ago and this year our form has been diabolical.

Never played the same team twice whether we had won or lost, went out of the League Cup this season to Colchester and the FA Cup last year to a poor Palace side I think.

Fans have laughed at the state of chel ski, utd and woolwich over the last few years but at least they have won things we haven't.

Yes Poch, thanks for the good times, there were a few even tho we won naff all, best of luck for the future we move on.

Well said Grandspurs.

Onwards and upwards, guys. No-one is bigger than the club.

Well said Granspur. Let’s move on and support the next manager instead of crying like a bunch of babies. Pochettino hasn’t died and he’s getting a huge pay off. I thank him for the memories, but in the end we won nothing under him - zilch. Time for a change and time to start bagging some trophies.

“5 years ago you were all slaughtering woolwich fans for the "Top 4" award that they got every season and yet thats all we have had to show for the last 5 years.“

I’ve seen this a few times recently and makes me laugh every time.

It was said because arsenal used to win real trophies and then settled for top4 while at the time we was struggling wishing for Europa let alone top4 and CL.

So us getting top 4 and CL football 4 years in a row was absolutely huge for a club like us and was a huge step up.

I remember waiting to see if we won the fair play league to see if we got into Europa.

As for poch going yes their was a case for it no doubt but when he had opportunities to go when it was going good he stayed loyal and imo we should’ve done the same at least until the summer.

I’m in no doubt they’ll probably be a short term upturn in form but with Mourinho joining I’m already thinking who in a couple years we’ll be looking at taking over.

and he had a lower win ratio than Tim Sherwood ffs.

During his time at the club, only Arsenal (51) have picked up fewer points against fellow "big-six" teams than Tottenham (60). And since August 2014, Spurs have lost more Premier League games against those sides than any of those other teams (23).

he has won four of 13 matches against the Gunners (won four, drew six, lost three), with only one of those victories coming away from home - a 2-0 win in the League Cup quarter-final last season.

We nearly blew top 4 last season its was purely the fact that woolwich messed up worse than us that got us through but you are all blinded by that CL Final where we also blew it totally btw.

The worst ever European defeat in our history at our own effing ground I might add.

Virtually threatening to leave if we won the CL? What the hell was that all about ffs?

Thats without losing gods knows how many semi finals on the trot which was also a club record btw.

Drawing with the likes of Newport and Tranmere

That is of course not including the multitude of jokes on social media regarding the THFC trophy cabinet.

To much smoke Boys and I think there will be a big backlash if we appoint a unproven Howe. It has to be a big name and no bigger than Jose. Oh and Henge, I told you we would get someone big I did say Allegri or Mourinho months ago didn’t I

Was the way he refused to squash the utd rumours for weeks loyalty? Was the insinuation that he might leave if we won the CL loyalty?

I wont disagree there the last person I would want is Jose and I might agree with you he should have at least have been given a bit longer we possibly owed him that but the reactions on here are ridiculous because there were just as many disappointments under Poch's reign as there were high points.

Even the Ajax game possibly the most exciting game I have ever seen but the comeback was only necessary because we were 3-0 down in the first place ffs. Remember also that was the side that utd beat easily 3 or 4 one in the Europa final a matter of months before we played them.

Lets be honest the only reason we turned that Ajax game around was because Poch picked such a dreadful starting line up and was forced to reconsider when we were getting hammered
