Levy will always win and we wont go anywhere under him. what do we have 1 league cup under him as chairman? plenty of managers in that time.

This move makes no sense Mourinho doesn't fit the profile that Tottenham seem to be setting. I thought someone like Eddie Howe fits the mould. Tottenham aren't going to suddenly spending loads of cash which is what Mourinho will need. Short term appointment really .

Extremely p*ssed off.

Spurs might get the initial positive bounce Mourinho brings, but he will ultimately decimate an all ready fractious dressing room. It's never Jose`s fault and he loves using the media to belittle his players.

The relationship between the Maureen and Levy will be comedy gold. Mourinho loves spending money. Levy hates spending money. There will be guaranteed fireworks after next summer transfer window when Mourinho doesn't get what he wants. The meltdown is usually quick, but it will come quicker this time.

The football will be of the standard jurrasic variety . Its Jose's style. Spurs fans, be prepared for the ugly, sour, defensive football Jose is famed for 😂

Jose tends to be remembered not for what he brings to a club, but the devastation he leaves before he is sacked. Its such a short sighted appointment and one that is nailed on to end in tears.

For the first time ever I actually think Spurs could win something, if there is one thing Mourinho has done everywhere he's been is win trophies.

The Lyon president in October 10th on approaching Jose for the Lyon managers role:

"We had some fairly flattering exchanges over SMS. It was nice for everyone. He did not accept our proposal to meet because he has already chosen another club"

I think Levy tapped him up a long time ago. This has been in place for a while.

The Spurs fans backing Mourinho should really take their heads out of the sand. He isn't going to just suddenly change for Tottenham. His trophy winning exploits have dwinded drastically since he left Inter. He won 2 trophies with Chelsea and 2 with Utd, this was after spending vast sums of money and then eventually alienating everyone from the players, board, fans and some of his own coaching stuff to then engineer his own exit out of the clubs.

It's madness that anyone thinks this is some sort of genius managerial appointment and Levy his finally lost the plot. Jose the guy who throws his toys out of the pram when he doesn't get to spend on what he wants working with a chairman that is tighter than a duck's backside. No logic to this decision whatsoever.

What annoys me the most is that everyone in the world knows that Mourinho will demand big spending.

So levy knows he will need to back him.

So why the fack did he not spend more backing Poch and just keep him and increase our chances of being successful?

What a great point I am going to be really interested to see what funds are available in Jan..... we should have gone all out in the summer and we didn't because we are not that type of club look at the net spend over the years.......

Dybala to arrive in January...I imagine / hope that we've been working on the issues which prevented his signing on the last day of the window since then.

No chance that’ll happen.

He’s back playing and scoring with Juventus no longer need money after getting a £300m injection.

Been saying it for ages when I was part of a minority. The guy is a complete fraud and it looks like he's losing more and more fans as the years go by.
