My wee one likes baked beans but would never eat a whole tin. So she’d put the remaining beans into a Tupperware dish and put them in the fridge.

They only last a day or two, baked beans, once they’re open and the easiest way of knowing they’re past their best is smelling them. Bad beans have a slightly sour, metallic kind of smell. You know that smell?

That’s the smell of new period. Like when it has only just started. Exact same smell.
