Yeah hopefully the club have had a complete rethink in how they buy players and which players they buy because far too often they've been getting it wrong in recent times with Morata, Bakayoko and Drinkwater being standout examples. £130 million spent on those three tells it's own story.
Time to start players that we actually need, that fit into the system and that the coaching staff actually want. Can't be that difficult to get right more often than not.
Tbf with morata, he had potential and was to replace costa, we then got the fee back, and got the fee for costa.
Drinkwater was english in a time we were strugglign with home grown. But him and bakayoko in the same window was baffling to say the least.

I fear for the likes of Tammy, Mount, Tomori and Reece James.

Ditch the young players? He's obviously not going to do that so you can consider your question answered already.
Strange thing to fear about. No chance of the four you have mentioned other than maybe tomori being discarded.
2 have been our best players this season as reece james is the best young rb in the country.

Tammy, Mount, Tomori and Reece James are all first team players and will be at Chelsea for several seasons: a lot longer than JM is at Spurs

Central defenders are the last thing we need. Rudiger won't be out for ever, then we have to find enough game time to keep Zouma, Tomori and Christensen happy and don't forget how highly rated Guehi is!
In fact I'd say we could do with offloading one!
