Yeah 10 and 11 playing Buttler role
Broad taking SA to the cleaners
Broad is the man he should have batted ahead of Wood though.
Feels like Buttler is mentally all over the show in test cricket at the moment. Big opportunity for Foakes if he comes back in. Just hope they don't go straight back to Bairstow even if he does have his best figures batting at 7. It's more the impression it gives it Bairstow gets his place straight back every time... But then again it's not like Foakes has the stats recently to back up him being selected either.
Tricky decision on paper but Foakes would surely be the right long term pick. Hopefully players like Crawley and Sibley and Pope keeping their places spells the end of the Yorkshire in crowd, which will hopefully mean Foakes gets the gig and the side continues to be picked on merit. I think if our batting lineup was:
1. Burns
2. Sibley
3. Crawley/Denly
4. Root
5. Stokes
6. Pope
7. Foakes
...then that would be the first time in living memory that I'd agree with it entirely.

Suppose you can dream
Wood has Malan caught by Buttler. 29-1.
This is so easy for England
Make a game of it South Africa ffs
Faf gone. De Kock and Bavuma will be a key partnership for them.

Nah football is better
But watching cricket can be a more enjoyable experience than watching football, and generally less stressful
Excellent day for our boys...embarrassing for them
Great day for England sheriff but a really dull match. You’d almost rather it was competitive. We will win the match by 200 runs if we have to bat again or an innings if they follow on.
Unbelievable day for England
It was a demoralising last wicket stand for them but their openers dug in for a bit to make up for it. Obviously the amount of runs they got is almost equal to what SA have managed so far so it was a shocking last session for them. Glad we got Nortje at the end, he's been a bit of a pain as a night watchman.
They're not a good side but we're a team in transition not at full strength away from home. Regardless, we have been excellent and they have been awful.
Brilliant brilliant day especially for the bowlers. Wood and broad propelling us amazingly to 400 a great score and then bowling brilliantly to get 6 before the end of play! Yes south africas batting is poor but we got them out with better balls than that nortje bowled for example.
De Kock their best batsman nowadays and a great keeper as well. With our top 6 now imagine having him at 7 in this england side.
I said I'd give this an hour...Philander gone second over...I might revise that
De kock is a bell piece of only we could swap him and Buttler would of been a nice emphatic 4 0
They're going to drag this out...aren't they
Time for a change of plan from Root, the game could change here, give the spinner a go, sorry forgot dont have one, so have to be Root
