I agree though - for Killie to bring someone in and expect him to reproduce Clarkes heroics over night is a but harsh to say the least.

a few years ago a club got promoted after 2 years in the championship and expected their manager to win the league right away.

sacked the poor guy because he wasn't top of the league, despite being pretty high up in the league.
