It would’ve been pretty easy to identify the fans.
We know exactly when and where it happened and cameras pointed on all seats.
For them to come out and say they can’t identify anyone tells me it probably didn’t happen.

UEFA in their infinite wisdom just claimed that there was insufficient evidence, which was a disgrace but unsurprising given their stance on the issue over the years.
More generally the first step in eradicating racism from the game is to stop all this ‘Whataboutary’ as Barry Glenndenning describes it. Where the first reaction when a teams fans are accused of racism is to point out other examples of another team’s fans doing the same. I’ve seen it on this thread above and it’s all over Twitter. It’s irrelevant and undermines the fight against racism.
I said it on another thread that one fans behaviour does not reflect a fan base, it reflects issues in society. I absolutely refuse to be associated with the idiots in Paris a few years back just because they happen by chance to support the same football team as me for example. We need more of what happened at the weekend when racial abuse is reported immediately by fellow fans - that’s the way we can start to push back against this disease which is infecting our game.

My whole point with sizzle is to wait for the investigation to be complete before going off in the deep end calling out these supposed fans.
Right now there is no evidence it’s happened bar Rudiger accusation.
The club has gone through the video and managed to pick out the people who threw things and rightly banned them but so far found no evidence of any racial abuse.
There’s plenty of fans in the area saying they never saw anything as have stewards. There is however one fan who thinks he did hear something so this will give the club absolute pin point placement to look again.
I don’t doubt Rüdiger believed he heard something and will back anything the club does if any individual is found guilty of it.
I one hundred percent agree on that it should reflect on any fan base it happens to.
I don’t feel ashamed that a spurs supporter is alleged to have done it as imo he doesn’t represent my club or my beliefs.
Son has had 4 incidents of racism against him in about 12 months one by a young boy from Burnley the few weeks ago.
It’s a sad situation but we have to let the investigation happen

I would of thought that was obvious by the fact that they did not prosecute, with regards the evidence the club produced, ask yourself why the CPS didn't use it? Not trying to excuse anything here just highlighting the fact that these incidents get twisted and blurred. Some claim to have hard things others not, some find evidence where others can't.
In respect of our club, they acted where the police wouldn't, maybe they should be applauded for that at least.

I reiterate my point from earlier about the guys that think he misheard some booing
This is a professional footballer with over 200 appearances. He would know what booing sounds like and when he hears something.ething different
