Embarrassing to be this guy after a lot, but that was a lot better and I'm.not too disheartened. Would have lost 3 or 4-0 a few weeks ago with zero positives.
United are beatable next week, but regardless it's another game I wont be too concerned about the result. Early signs under Artera look good to me.

That was like winning on points in a boxing match then getting knocked out in the final round.
Cant wait to see Rashford, Martial and Greenwood/James running at your joke of a defence on Wednesday. 3-1 United. Bookmark!
When you look at the teams above us you just realise how horrible we are. And I worry for Arteta, this job is way too big for him, esp when the Kroenkes don't want to invest in the team.
Defensively our shape is looking a lot better. Or at least, there's a more coherent strategy in terms of when to press, when to get back in position.
Good management is not that complicated. Take good players, get them playing in a system that suits them, and motivate them. We have to trust Arteta in the latter, but he needs help from better quality players.
We desperately need a reliable CB and a good ball-playing midfielder, at the least.
