No.4 is redundant since the player Jorginho fouled shouldn’t have been on the pitch by your own logic. Luiz should have been off too
Where it all went wrong:
Jorginho coming on and Chelsea abandoning the 3 at the back.
Torreira was also fouled for the first goal. It was pretty clear, not sure why it was allowed.
The game also highlighted our fitness issues. These waaankers really need to be whipped into shape.

Yeah, the VAR replay seemed to ignore that.
It is hard to change style half way through a season to a far more uptempo one. Even harder if you do it during the hectic Christmas period. Even harder when you have a lot of injuries and inexperienced kids filling in roles that they aren't used to.
If Emery had gone during the last international break and Arteta had come straight in we would no doubt be far healthier in the league.
Exactly.
I can't blame arteta at all, you can see the difference he's made to the way we play in just a few training sessions.
What about the foul on us in the box, even Neville couldn't believe the ref played on
Ozil got all the freedom between the lines and Tomori stepping up to mark him which resulted in defensive issues for Chelsea. Lampard game management was spot on this game as he went from 3 at the back to 4.
Jorginho coming on was to mark Ozil who had all the space between Chelsea defence and midfield and to control the game from there.
Mustafi should made a tactical foul to stop Abraham.
I still think we were comfortable at one nil, yes they had a lot of possession but can’t remember Leno having anything much to do. It took a horrendous error to allow them back into the game. Then Mustafi allowing Abraham 10 hrs to turn and get his shot off. Lots of positives for me.
It went all wrong when Leno made that individual mistakes and Jorghino fouled Torreira before.
If Leno didnt make that mistake, we wouldnt have lost the game.
Significant that our players ran out of steam , just goes to prove that they have been allowed to get away with not working very hard over recent years. Fitness is one thing that you expect from every PL player especially at top clubs.
Jorginho coming on
Chambers getting injured
Mustafi getting the head injury, he didnt look right after that.

Ridiculous stuff. You're digging out excuses since you well know that you're lucky with a point let alone three points. I am not surprised the Premier League referees have been dreadful.

You're entitled to your opinion, but what did they do with all the possession. Nothing apart from Willian's short freekick to Mount's chance in which Leno saved comfortably. I think if the referee did his job consistently, then Arsenal would have won the match comfortably because Chelsea were making number of fouls to stop Arsenal rhythm.

Yes, I know. However, they sometimes think Torriera should have been stronger though foul is a foul no matter what.

Spot on. Is also Mavropanos worse than Mustafi? Why can't he get a game? Holding will be back against Man Utd. Could we start with him? Arteta will have to rotate a bit with Pepe coming in for Nelson and Willock for Lacazette.

Beat Arsenal comfortably first, then you can imagine afterwards.
Devastated for Calum... Playing well, great assist then that injury... It looked like he could be out for a while too, has anyone seen an update on it? The only positive was that he walked off the pitch and didn't get carried off on the stretcher.
4. Craig Pawson booking Maitland Niles and Torriera for holding a player and when Chelsea's Jorginho did the same bottling it to give a card.

I couldn't believe my eyes.
I'd rather rely in VAR than these refs. People need to be careful what they wish for.
Why didn't he book Jorg? Because he wanted to be the centre of attention? How does he deem some bookable and others not?
I'd rather rely on the machine because that beggars belief.
