We saw with Matic coming on tonight how vital experience is. I'd not think it's right to let Young go now. In the summer for sure.

Then again with the rise Williams it's maybe for the best

Some absolute screamers from him

Problem with this is that Young is our most reliable left back.

It’d be great if they could come in for Lingard. Bernardo has now scored as many (2) goals at OT in his last two games as Lingard has in two years.

Anyway, we need to be buying players this window, not overloading them.

Yep let’s send another experienced pro out with nothing back in

Bit harsh on Young I think wanting him gone. He always gives it 100% whatever his limitations. Where we need to be selling players is, as Dazza has said, in the positions we're really crying out for some quality.

If I'm being honest I prefer Young to Shaw or Awb. Wouldn't call it a silver lining

It’s Ole’s plan to bring the average age of the squad down to 14

Then he’ll have an excuse for his failings

Ole still smiling and loving it think his vodka must be better than mine

why the feck are yo happy he is going. Young is at least more consistent than other players and gives us a reliable spare tire on both FB positions! He's not blocking anyone progress. silly move letting him go given the age and state of the current squad

You can already predict what will happen. Young goes, Shaw gets injured and we have to rely on a young Williams in a crucial part of the season where he ends up struggling.

Lingard, Jones, Mata should be out before Young.
And I'm sorry but I have seen absolutely nothing of Dalot to suggest he is a Premier league footballer nevermind Manchester United player.
This club is an absolute fecking shambles at the moment. Shocking owners, shockng CEO, manager who appears pretty clueless and a dire squad.

I keep seeing that Smalling could go to Roma for as little as €15m. Shocking as he is our best defender. Lindelof is beyond woeful

Yeah, Dalot has been massively unconvincing when he's played. Injured more often than not. Cost £19m when he was the Porto back up RB. Could have signed their 1st choice for £14m. You'd hope there is plenty more to come from him. Plenty more promise, not injuries.

I don’t even like Young. We should have got shot of hik years ago when he was actually worth something. But it just doesn’t really make any sense to sell him now when we have massive problems at left back.

It's just so lucky we don't have any problems anywhere else!

100%. Jose signing someone as a favour to his old mates at Porto because no way anyone watched that team and thought we'll pass on Ricardo Pereira but sign his understudy instead for similar money with legitimate reasoning.

Dalot should have been sent to the reserves after his shameful sub appearance againt Wolves.
