<Wales voted Leave so being in the EU means v little>

Another Brexit myth.

Majority of native Welsh voted Remain.

Rich English 2nd home owners elected to cast their votes in Wales.

''Twas in the summer dontcha know and me and the Old Girl didn't fancy

the tiresome trip back to Oxforshire,''

They cost us more money than they generate. It's time to have a vote and get rid of them.

Plus they are security nightmare we can do without

Not in the top 100 of fvked up things needing fixed.

They are a complete irrelevance.

That kvnt of a skunk Dominic Cummings is now running our country.

It’s unlikely that a vote would see the monarchy abolished anyway. But on the slim chance that it would, do you think this government is going to give the people this decision?

Hard to tell how much money Wales is making due to being part of the union as well, Diafol. So it could be hard to qualify as an EU member.

You know more about the indy movement than me so I’ll have to take your word for it, despite my reservations. I just think England will make it very difficult for this to be achieved.

But even it it does, it just cements the monarchy’s status in England. I don’t think I’ll ever be alive to see it’s abolition.

I'm going to Wrexham for the next march!

I'm going as cautiously pro-Indy as well. It's an unequal union (and I'd count parts of England as being shafted in this inequality as well). The monarchy is going to be difficult to remove (I think it's outdated myself but I don't worry too much about it) in England for sure. Part of why I am pro-Indy though is that it seems the UK is run mostly with England in mind. I can sort of understand why because England is by far the biggest country within it but it doesn't help the other countries IMO. For example Wales has never been majority conservative yet for most of my life we've had the Tories in power.

Also don't get me started on Wales voting for Brexit. Biting the hand that feeds them big time!

Diafol, yep I understand that completely. England and its self interest will break up the union. Whether Wales manages to break away remains to be seen due to your status being quite different to Scotland and Northern Ireland.

I do expect a united Ireland and independent Scotland in my lifetime.

I'd say the English establishment rather than England to be fair though. I have as much in common as someone from Manchester, Liverpool, Cumbria as I have someone from Cardiff I'd say. If not more so.

Wales has seemed quite happy to be subservient though through the years although I do sense a change. On my part though it's certainly not an anti-English sentiment. Just a more pro-Welsh one.

A lot of treasonous bassas on here

Yeah that’s fair. Though English nationalism will lead to its breakup, Brexit has been massively influenced by it.

Now Hear This.

A History of the UK’s past 40 years in 52 words.

Like all good History it tells of the Future just as much as the Past.

The consistent themes are conflict, chaos, & uncertainty.

Thatcherism divided the nation.

Replaced by Blairism which was Thatcherism Mark2.

Which led to a rise in Scottish nationalism.

Which led to a rise in English nationalism.

Which led to Brexit.

Which will lead to an Independent Scotland.

And a United Ireland.

Not ONE of these outcomes was intended by any of the protagonists.

I should be getting paid to write this schiiit.

I'm OK with the idea of having a monarchy if the majority consent to it. But being forced into accepting a genetic lottery winner as my superior seems unacceptable to me.

This is it. I kind of feel the same way about the Royals as I do about these ‘gaays’ you hear so much of these days.
They’re free to do whatever they want behind closed doors. I just don’t want it rammed down my throat.

Rough hands pressed against the back of my head. Pushing my crying face into his crotch. Forcing that big cawwk further down my slvtty throat. Facefacking me like the slag I am. The stench of a filthy men’s room cubicle in my shameful nostrils.

I’m the queen. I’m the queen.
