Jonty (alright mate been a while on the email front), have a feeling – and suspect you feel same – we'll know after this window if AR is serious about the club's future and being in the Prem or if he's treading water waiting for someone/some entity to blow him out of the water with an offer.

Cannot disagree with any of that!

I’m coming over next month, hoping for 4 or 5 games to help fix things!

This blip started before Christmas, not based on Cup game. I expect us to now recommence what we were doing prior to that Fulham game

We have won one of our last seven games, the win was a last gasp victory at Brum. Worrying times.

We have played some excellent football in those games, but if you look at the 7 game win streak we had prior...we were very fortunate and the writing was on the wall.

i think I will have a break from all this stress of watching and listening to the games for a few weeks and just find out the final score. It's like groundhog day and the owners appear to be doing their best again to ensure we stay trapped in this league.
WTF is going on! We need at least 3 good quality additions and we need them now.

😂.. Macca, at least you’re not been overly dramatic.

Jonty.. Has zero to do with the cups.. this ‘run of games’ started when we threw a 3 goal lead away vs Cardiff.

We always seem to have a winter malaise, certainly in recent years. We must buy players who don't like the cold.....

Poor result whichever way you look at it.

The issue with Leeds is that everyone wants to beat us, always been the way since the Revie era.

Add in the pressure of playing for Leeds, particularly at home, where expectation is always high whether realistic or not.

Leeds United supporters are uniquely different. We know this. Fingers crossed that we can get this little setback out of our system and quickly.

Very true.

We've lost our ability to win 1 nil every week. Our back line including keeper are conceding too many goals for the amount of shots they are facing. At the other end, we barely have a player in double figures for goals. We need a goalscorer and some fresh legs.

Is it really worth throwing it away again and being laughed at by the whole country. If we lose our top 2 spot, it would be to inferior clubs, especially a team like Brentford who have HALF our resources and facilities.
We really have to go on an unbeaten run soon.

Thought best not to comment yesterday as was feeling so frustrated but still feeling annoyed today.

Not sure if this is January 2018/19 or 2019/20 season - currently very little difference.

I was very optimistic after WBA away and felt we turned a psychological corner but yesterday's performance second half concerned me as the lads looked to have hit the wall energy wise. Maybe it's just a blip after Arsenal and the hectic Christmas periiod. They have a week to sort themselves out and hopefully they can get back to winning ways.
But it does irritate me how long it takes the club to make new signings which we all can see the team will benefit from Other clubs just get on with it but we just seem to be faffing about yet again. A new Striker or midfield signing this week would really lift everyone but I'm not holding my breath.

Correlation isn't causation.

It's far more likely that as the season goes on injuries build up and bielsa's stubbornness with tactics make getting results against us easier and this coincides with when we play cup games

Spot on, Spanish Italian, this is the repercussion of the Cardiff game. Our self-belief is in bits. For the last two games, we have looked tired in the second half, and I thin it's a psychological issue, because we must be the fittest squad in the league. Our players have not scored a goal since the win at Brum and the chances missed on Saturday were awful. Bamford, Harrison and Costa should be locked in a room, made to watch the match video twice, followed by an hour of analysis with Biels afterwards. If that doesn't fix them, nothing will.
