Rated highly by managers, players he plays with, players he plays against, just a work horse to the fifa playing football fan.
He got abuse from plenty of Liverpool fans too. Was never going to be easy to replace Gerrard and initially he struggled but then Klopp took over and like the rest of the squad he has improved him.
He has been that good that we have not noticed Fabinho being injured. The same Fabinho who was our best midfielder before he got injured.

I wrongly assumed he was straight.
I didn't know this award existed, who is it voted for by?
Deserved winner I would think though, captaining this Liverpool side. Would probably say TAA/Sterling have performed better than him as English players in the last 12 months, but taking into account the captaincy when winning the CL and this years league campaign, it's fair.

Always backed him and consider how people appraise Henderson as a litmus test for their football knowledge. Same with Sterling.
Here's what Darren Bent said;
He is the only guy I have trained with and played with that got pulled out of training because their heart rate was too high.
'All the years I have trained and played, he was the only player where the manager had to pull him out of training because the manager was like ‘Listen, you red zone stats are way too high, you are going to have a heart attack if you carry on’.
I think he has a decent chance of the Football Writers Award this season.
Ive always rated him too. Hes one of those players that people who dont understand football, or watch him play, think is rubbish. Reminds me when people knocked Hamann as the 'just a work horse' type player, but you soon see the difference when they arent playing!

He's a great cheerleader and workhorse, can't knock him for that.
Arguably the most professional player in the league alongside Milner.
A proper role model and according to Klopp and the players, the perfect captain.
In fact, listening to him after the Spurs game, I was very impressed with his interview. So mature and grounded.
Did I mention he led his team to 3 European Trophies over the last 12 months and is very close to adding the Premier league trophy.
Most clubs could do with him in their team , would make a big difference to utds midfield
If we do the double or even treble he's got be in the conversation as best ever Liverpool captain.
Henderson is like a good old wine. He gets better with age.
His spreading of the ball and crossing is one of the best in our team. His energy and leadership skills is also positive for our team.
Only took Klopp about 3 years to figure out that he's not a deep midfielder...to the detriment of Henderson...but he always cracked on with it because no-one else in the team could play that position before we signed Fabinho.
I don't think anyone ever complained about his professionalism.
He's been playing out of his skin there since Fabinho has been put and we've had some of our best form in years when he played there pre Fabinho no?
