I actually think Kevin De Bruyne has a good claim.
From a Liverpool perspective, I think Mane or perhaps Trent and Big Virgil is pretty much spectacular every week.
Players like Sterling, Vardy and even Mane have gone off the boil of late while VVD standard has never slipped. Best player again.

Can't see Sterling nominated. Vardy has been better. If Mane steps it up maybe but at the moment VVD is the most consistent.
