Sanchez's knees are fine

According to Marca, including his wages (€8m+ pa), Raiola's commission (€15m) & his father's commission (€10m), the total cost of Haaland's transfer (reportedly €20m) will be in the region of €81m

£81m transfer fee is just used to make it look more expensive that it is. You'd get similarly outrageous figures if you incorporate wages into any deal.

The £20-25m in commission to his father and agent however is ridiculous. You can understand why United would pull out of that deal. Plus apparently a release clause in there too.

£42m is the going rate for what looks like a top class player these days, in fact probably just below what you would expect to pay, judging by his recent performances.

A good deal for Spurs and Levy'ed PSG in the process, can't be bad.

Anyone know what sort of wages he’s on?

Eriksen will be a huge miss, but no point in dwelling on the past. Players and managers come and go, and can always be replaced, but the club is the only thing that matters, and can never be replaced.

What a load of meaningless pigswill.

I think I remember reading 70k a week when the transfer first happened (ie he came on loan) so I'm assuming it'll still be something around that.

Cheers, interesting.

Still quite low level in that respect then. Will be interested to see how he does.

Can’t help but feel like Levy has no intention of taking the club to the next level.

Yeh, but I thought with Mourinho we might see that change.

To be fair, if you can get away with lower wages then great - but I think generally it’s harder to build a top quality squad like that.

Levy has the desire to take Spurs to the next level. What he doesn't have are the pockets to do it.
