Winning the league is more important than being unbeaten.
The other and who would have thought it! The 49th game is MAN CITY away...you couldn't make it up eh!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Already won. Might as well go unbeaten now.
City arguably the best chance.
Can easily see City beating you, depending on your respective CL statuses at that point. You'll have had the league wrapped up for a while at that point and whilst records are nice, trophies matter way more. Can see you losing maybe twice before the season is over if you're challenging on every front.
Watford
Palace
City
Brighton
One of these if any

Coronavirus will stop you with any luck.
If not we’ll have to put all our eggs in Trump instigating nuclear apocalypse with Iran.
Plenty of time and options left though not worried yet.
Challenging on every front? CL will probably be it, League will be won in the next 6 games if we win the lot imo, it will mean city have to WIN every game from now on (pretty much) and City this season have not won more than 3 games in a row..FACHT!

That's mainly what I meant, but the closer you get to the FA Cup final, you can be sure you'll want that one as well, especially with the league wrapped up
If we win the league while we’re still in the champs league then I wouldn’t be bothered if Klopp plays the kids and we get beat in the remaining games to keep the first teamers fresh

We only lost to city in the season we only lost one game...1-0 away - the irony being the penalty scorer was anelka
It’s a valid point about the winter break. A lot of teams have even derailed by the post-December fatigue/injuries. It’s a factor.
As for the question posed, I honestly don’t think any of them will. You’re going unbeaten this season. I’m reconciled to that. Juventus and Arsenal have done it, so why not Liverpool? You’re having a great season.

There are quite a few teams who have a huge incentive to beat us and stop the golden trophy. Everton, their entire existence nowadays is trying to be a thorn in Liverpool's side instead of having any ambitions of their own. Man City - I think their senior players singing about a Liverpool fan being brutally beaten shows how much we have got to them. Then of course Arsenal who will went to defend their record. I won't be too upset if Arsenal stop us, at least their justification is noble. But fack Everton and City, I hope we facking end them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal won’t be defending their record. Completely different squad, management and standard of club at present. If you were up against the Arsenal invincibles that’d be something to see!

Defo, if we were out of Europe and the fa cup then would like to see them go hard to go unbeaten but any kind of a double is much better than an unbeaten season or a record points tally.
Thing is though even if we did rotate heavily in league games we'd still have a strong side out. Like klopp all about the rhythm so he won't massively disrupt the team but can giveads who have played lots of games a day off when nor ally he wouldnt have.
Would love it if they slipped up, like a famous Anfield hero said once...I would love it
Just to stop them gloating. MIracles do happen and this is a miracle that is so wished for. A disastrous run followed by locusts decending on their players

Awe. Poor little fella.
I don’t mind if this Liverpool side win the title. I mean, it’ll suck for certain, but it stops City winning three on the bounce. Only the top teams win three on the bounce.

not interested in this record.
Its just a talking point to drum up some interest as we have all but won the league.
why should be care about arsenal's 49 match record? cos its first up before the invincibles record?
All I want is the title.
now:
the next 4 league games are almost unbettable. The odds on LFC wins will be so short its a waste of moeny and the odds on the oppoenents will be so long it'll be ridiculous.
Then its everton. Who seem to have a mental block with us but will be desperate to break legs or at least not lose.
after that point palace will park bus and then its down to city to try beat us just for pride.
